Chapter 9: Having it all is what matters

I was waiting in the hospital waiting room, when I saw Parker coming in my direction. "What's going on?" He asked coming up to me.

I looked towards the emergency rooms and said "Well I made dinner for Ben and Lila, and I poised Ben and Something's wrong with Lila and the baby.

They won't tell me a whole lot." More tears came. "Oh my god! How could this happen? And why was Ben at your dorm?"

Really Parker? Now is not the time to get into this. "A story for later." I said pacing back and forth on the plaid tiled floor.

"I have to get to Lila!" He yelled as he said something to the desk lady and she pointed towards the wide rectangular door. I felt like my heart was beating out of my chest. The thing could fly out of my chest, and ruin the floor, while everybody sees blood pumping out and the organ slowly stop pumping. When I saw the Doctor come out of the doors she looked straight at me and gestured her hand for me to come.

I ran over to her, asking "Can I see him?" She smiled a bit, but I couldn't tell if it was a sympathetic smile or not. "Yes you can, but he's sleeping right now." I was relieved that I could finally see the boyfriend I almost killed. I saw Parker storm out from the doors, and to the exit.

I continued to follow the doctor though. She brought me to his room, and left me alone with him. I sat down next to his motionless body, which looked a little peaceful. I heard the sounds of the machines he was hooked up to, which was annoying me. I decided just to focus on the drip of his Iv. I was just so glad, that he didn't die.

PARKERS POV

I got in my car, and drove to the nearest bar. They won't let me see my own girlfriend, even if I'm the father of her baby. I saw my old friend Trevor standing outside. I got out and went for the entrance. "Parker? My man!" He said when he saw me.

"Hi Trevor." I madly said as I walked in. I hit the alcohol hard that night. If Lila is okay, she will kill me for getting so drunk. Better then her dying I guess.

AEROS POV

I was woken up by a nurse, telling me that a girl named Lila wants to see me. I followed her down the hallway, and into one of the hospital rooms. I walked in, to see Lila, laying In the bed, with a tiny little baby in her arms.

"Oh my god." I said as I walked over next to her.

"This is my new baby girl." she smiled at me. "She's so.. little!" I said touching her little fingers.

"That could happen giving I gave birth like three months early." She began. "Do you want to hold her?" She then finished. The next thing I knew I had this tiny little baby in my hands. She had little blue eyes, and little toes.

"Whats her name?" I asked curiously. "Well parker and I talked about if it's a boy, Peter, and if it's a girl, Lily. So meet little baby Lily." "Hi Lily." I whispered.

I passed her back to Lila, and said "I'm going to check on Ben, see if he's awake." Then I walked to Bens room. I saw he was awake, so I knocked before entering. "Come in." He said. I walked in, and sat it the chair next to him.

"How do you feel?" I asked considering I'm the one who put him here. "Good. I like you a little less, But good." He said in a joking matter.

"Thanks. And I am sorry." I laughed. He smiled back, and I told him, "So Lila had her baby." He looked up curiously. "Really? Cool, is it a boy or a girl?" He asked. "Its a girl, named Lily." I told him. "Nice. I bet your brothers jumping up and down." "Actually I haven't seen him." I said taking Out my cell. I dialled his phone number.

"Helloo?" I heard a shaky voice say. "Parker? Your girlfriend and your baby girl want to see you!" I said into the receiver.

"Okay. but I'm having a bit of a hangover." "Parker!" I yelled into the phone. Then a heard a beeping. "He hung up on me!" I send putting away my phone. "So I see He is handling it well." Ben said sarcastically.
