Chapter four: Plans Plans Plans

AEROS POV
The next day, i did my daily routine. Wake up, take a shower, and then go on a run. When I got back from my run, I went to wake up Lila but she was already gone. I don't know where she went but I decided not to pry. Besides, I have to go meet Ben soon anyways. I feel really bad about just plopping Parker on him, it's not his responsibility. I'll try to make it up to him later, because right now, I'm going to look for a job. I decide that it's time I make some money.

Parker has a part time job as a (believe or not) assistant coach for the elementary school basket ball team. It payed well for my old school, and because Parker works through the school, it's kinda like a scholarship for him at this school.

I should pitch in a little to help. I went to school poster board, where all the little flyers are. I saw a few help wanted posters, not ones very interesting though.

I was about to walk away when I saw an orange flyer that advertised: " Plaza Pizza, Eat the food, love the food" and below waitress help wanted. I decided to write down the phone number, it didn't look like a bad job. I then looked at my watch and noticed it was time for me to go meet Ben. I texted him and said I would be there soon. I then looked and realized Lila texted me.

The text read: you should meet me!!! I have to tell you something!!!". Then our conversation went to this:

Me: "I can't I have to meet Ben".

Lila:"Oh yeah you have to meet your boyfriend".

Me:" He's not my boyfriend! And what's so important you have to tell me in person?"

Lila: lol. Well.... Parker asked me out again! He said he's going to help and support my decisions!"

Me: That's... Good. Well I gtg see you later"

Lila:"Okey byes."

Ben and I are not going out. Well I'm not saying it would be the worst thing..... I looked down and saw the time. I then went and called a taxi and told them Bens address.

When the cab pulled into the driveway, and the guy said "Your in need of a cab and you live here? Wow." I then noticed how creepy the guy was. Then I went to open the door, but it was locked. I looked up to see Ben walking down the driveway.

"Unlock the door please." I awkwardly said. But the guy just smiled and winked at me. That made me panic. I then desperately was grasping the door handle pulling the handle.

I then rolled down the window and yelled "Help! Please! Help me!" Then Ben started running down the drive way, but it was to late. The cab driver started to pull out of the stone driveway. I started to ball.

I drastically tried to get help, but the guy rolled up the window. "I've been watching you for a while. your special honey." I then wiped the tears of my cheeks. "Let me go!" I screamed.

it didn't make the situation better. I noticed that we went to the other side of the woods. Then he turned around an knocked me out with to punches to the face.

I started to panic, I froze. I couldn't move. seeing Aero be taken right in front of me and being defend less was terrible. Then I took action and saw Aeros phone on the ground. The guy must have threw it out the window. I bent down and picked it up. I then dialled Parker. It rang twice,then he answered.

"Aero, if this is to congratulate me on my new ways with girls, I'm all ears." I hear him say. "What? No this isn't Aero! She's been kidnaped!" I screamed into the phone. "Wait what?!? Who the hell is this?" I kinda got scared after he said that. I shakily say "Um its Ben, from school." "You weren't with her? You let her be taken! When I see you I'm gonna kick the snot out of you!" He yelled.

Oh great. another guy out to get me. "That's not important right now! The fact is she's been taken! We need to call the police!" I yell back. I stare up at the sky, that seemed to be blank. "We cant. It hasn't been 48 hours yet." he said. Oh great. Now what am I going to do? I then fell to the ground, and my chest hurt. It hurt really badly.

"Ben? Are you there?" I hear the voice of a phone echo throughout my head. "Ben, get over your panic attack, I need you right now!" I could hardly breath. I wouldn't be much help at this point.

I woke for about the fifth time sense I had Been brought to a basement, hands and legs had been tied up. He just kept cursing and hitting me, and wouldn't stop. he didn't say anything beside an occasional swear.

The guy was as drunk as a coconut, and is still drinking. I looked at him in pain, and sputtered out "What did I do to you?" He looks down shocked.

"Its because of rich people like you I'm a cab driver! so don't pretend to be all innocent!" He could barely say the words. "But I'm not-" I didn't get to finished it before he hit me again. My nose was bleeding, My head was pounding, and my body was sore.

He then set down the bottle he was sipping from. he came over and made me sit up at the started petting my hair. "But you are a pretty little thing, there are so many things I can do."

Then the worst thing I imagined could happen. He started slipping his hands up my shirt, and then it began. Probably after like ten minutes, I could take it. I took my ducked tape hands and reached for his bottle. I finally reached it and grasped it.

Then, with all my might, I smashed it into his head. But sense I didn't let go of the bottle, little pieces of glass painfully infiltrated my left hand. I screeched in pain and let go of what was left of the bottle. I looked and it worked. He was out cold.

I then took a big piece of glass, and started braking through the duck tape. I finally broke free, and didn't think for a minute when I ran up the basement stairs. I looked around for a exit, and found one. I ran outside and looked around.

I saw woods about everywhere. I had to find out where I was. Then I saw a little wall of rounded stone. I remembered it. It was on Bens street. I then darted for it. I pushed passed through all of the twigs and branches through the woods. I reached the wall and looked around. I was finally out of the woods. I looked and saw Bens house about three houses down, and sprinted to it.

As I was running, I saw Ben standing in the driveway with his hands on his head. I ran straight towards him. He saw me and he had a sign of relief in his face. I ran up to him and hugged him, and I didn't let go. He was a little surprised that I was hugging him, but he softly hugged me back.

I broke down and started balling. As I was crying into his shoulder, he whispered "shh it's okay your with me now." He was practically holding me because I could barely stand. "It was terrible, he did bad things. it was just like what happened to my brother when-" He cut me off.

"Shh don't speak now. It's okay. I'm going to bring you to the hospital." I nodded in return as we walked to his car. I'm glad he stopped me. I would have hated myself If I told him what happened to Parker. Parker doesn't even like me knowing what happened.

Later when we were walking out of the hospital, I saw Parker leaning against his car. I turned to Ben and told him "Thank you for everything. you didn't have to do any of that. And I'm sorry for being a mess."

Then he looked at me and smiled. "I'm just glad that your okay." I then went to walk away, but turned around and kissed him on the cheek. I went and got in Parkers car. Parker didn't get in the car, he went over to Ben and I heard him say, "Thanks." Then I watched him punch Ben across the face. "Parker!" I yelled. he turned around and said "What? I told him I needed to hurt him."

Then he smirked and got in the car. I waved to Ben and I saw him wave back.I pulled down the mirror and looked. I saw my face staring back at me. Its a little bruised, but doesn't look as bad as it feels. I put the mirror back and looked down at my hand, which was wrapped around the middle part of my hand. I wanted to forget that the day I just had happened.
