“Okay, listen up,” I clear my throat and begin to read out the letter.
Dear Jake,
It’s good to know that you and your little daughter are doing well. I’ve been good too, and I was actually wondering what to write back to you, which is why I took so long to reply. Sorry if I got you worried.
It isn’t that I don’t have anything to tell you, but it’s just that I don’t know where to begin. So, I thought maybe I could start with my age and some bits of information about me?
Would you believe me if I said that I’m the exact same age as you? Yes! I’m twenty-nine too, and no, you don’t have to worry about accidentally writing a drunk letter to me because I’m not a sixty-year-old granny.
One more fun(?) thing about me, I’m ambidextrous. Although I’m predominantly left-handed when I write and eat, my work requires me to use my right hand a lot. I’ve tried writing with both hands since I was young, so it turned out that I can use both my hands equally.
My work has been busy, and I’ve been meeting a lot of interesting people too. I hope your work isn’t keeping you too busy, and that you’re also able to spend time with your baby. I’ve been listening to your songs a LOT, and this particular song ‘Toxic Love’ from over a year ago is suddenly my earworm, and I’m actually quite addicted to it at this point.
I was also wondering if there could be a backstory to this song since most of your songs have a bright and positive vibe whereas this one has a much gloomy, deep, and darker color to it. You haven’t specifically spoken about this song in any of your interviews from back then as well, except for stating that it is a song with a mysterious vibe. Of course, we know that!

“And there’s a little red heart beside her name... Aaahh...” I turn my head to look at Jungkook who has his head low, and he’s also smiling big, more like blushing to himself.
“What are you blushing for?” I giggle when he pushes his hair back and tries to disguise the blush on his face by putting up a fake stoic expression.
“Doesn’t suit you,” I declare, turning around a bit to sit down facing him as I fold a leg and rest it on top of the mattress. “Are you going to tell her the story behind ‘Toxic Love’?” My serious question makes him chew the insides of his cheek, and his eyebrows come together in contemplation.
