This is really strange. Yesterday, Jane and Steven fought. He slapped her and she really fought him with anger. They were sent to the principal. Today, they are together. She went to his table at the cafeteria and she was with him in every school interval, only the two of them. They were chatting all day. They are still stiff and embarrassed but they are together like they are friends. What happened? Well, I don't care. I need my peace and calm.
-"Justin!!!" I hear her calling my name and I feel irritated. Then, she approaches me with company.
-"Steven needs some help at literature." She says. I look at him and he affirms it.
-"Why me?" I ask.
-"Are you kidding me? You are a literature freak. You are the only person that can help him." She says with her rude words.
-"This is not polite. You don't ask for a favor this way." He says. Then he looks at me.
-"I am Steven Charles. We worked together at the festival. Can you help me with the literature assay?" I am really surprised. I can't say no in this situation. I can see Jane's mocking gaze but I can't do anything.
-"Okay."
-"Thank you."
-"Don't mention it."
-"Then, what about we meet at the library?" Jane says with enthusiasm.
-"Are you going to come too?" I ask her.
-"Of course." She says with a wide smile. Then the bell rings.
I can see the surprised look at Miss Mars, when we get inside the library and sit at the same table. Then after the surprised look, a satisfying one follows. I don't pay attention to her anymore but I try to teach Steven some important points so he can write his assay. We borrow some books from the library and I start the lesson.
-"Jane, be more serious. You have the same project. Listen to him carefully." I hear Steven scold Jane.
-"I don't care about school." She says with pride.
-"Then what are you going to be in your life? Are you going to be manipulated by your mother?" He says and I am really surprised about his courage to say things like that to her.
-"Why do you care?"
-"I care about you very much. You helped me and it's my turn. Your only exit is to become independent. You must study and create your own life." He is really mature and serious. His words are true and sincere but at the same time caustic.
-"It is not your business." She says with anger and she leaves. I can see his gaze follow her.
-"She is stubborn. She sees enemies everywhere." I say and he looks at me.
-"We need to convince her."
-"Why? It's her life and her decision."
-"We are friends. We need to show her the right path."
-"Are you kidding me? I don't care about the life of others. I hardly try to live mine." I say and start to teach him again.
The next day, they are not together. Well, they had a serious argument the previous day. She is angry and he is hard core in his beliefs.
-"He is not illogical." I say to her when she sits in my lonely table again.
-"You, too? I thought that you didn't care about others."
-"I don't but this situation is irritating. Decide if you want to be together or not. This is confusing."
-"Why do you care? How is it confusing?"
