Two weeks later, the construction team came to Green Hill and they started their works. With them, a team of scientists and experts on environmental level came to guide the construction team so they can work without hurting the environment. They were going to do another inspection, after all the nature could change the next minute. The natural park was going to cover the area of the mountains near the three small towns, the river from the source to the plateau and some straight fields and small forests near the hills.
After the inspection, there was going to begin the construction of infrastructure of the park. There was going to be creating approachable paths, benches and tables for the visitors, areas for safe camping, areas for some mountain sports like hiking, climbing and bicycling.
Of course, there are going to be some periodic checks on the ecosystem of the park. It is going to be taken care like a big garden. Mr. Gale's department will be going to be the guard and there is going to be one scientist that is going to live here periodically or permanently. With one way or another, there is going to be a periodical check.
In the meantime, I have to study the reports of the other members of the organization. In these reports, there is the information that I need so I can improve the economy. First of all, I need a lot of different sport experts so they can help developing the businesses. First of all, I need to meet Tony.
He is working at a car workshop. I want to know if there is someone of the mechanics in there who knows about bicycles. How to make and how to maintain them. He could teach some others while he will be the main technician.
So, I am going to create the first sport business. I need someone who knows or is interested about bicycles. I am lucky enough and Tony is the one who knows about bicycles. He is going to give some seminars to those who need them. We have about two months to complete the training. Tony is going to come in contact with a good company so we can buy some second-hand but in good condition bicycles.
While I am at it, I call Mr. Stone so he can create a special account for the development of the park. I need to know how much it costs to develop and to maintain it.
I have already come in contact with some sportsmen who know about water sports in rivers like rafting and canoe kayaking. They will try to do these sports in the river and if it is doable, we can open an appropriate shop. They will have to co-operate with the ecologists to protect the aquatic life and the human life at the same time. The river can be dangerous in some periods. With the same precaution and preparations, I'll hire some climbers.
All these sportsmen and experts are going to be trainers and advisors. The owners of these sports activity are going to be the locals with whom the organization will sign some contracts of co-operation. The shops will be established with New Leaf's support and will take over the duty to protect the park. After some time, there are going to be more shops and establishment thanks to the natural park the tourism that it will attract. I was away for three days so I could find all these people who will help me.
There were many applications from the locals to own a sport shop. They were willing to train and study about everything so they can operate a respectable business. More specifically, there are a lot of young people who wants to create something on their own. This is their opportunity.
There is a lot of work to be done but I feel happy that everything are going smoothly. At the same time, Mrs. Falcon informs me that after two weeks of rehearsals, the band with Mrs. Foster and Derek Marble are ready to give their first performance. Mrs. Locust and Mr. Stone managed to organize a music tour at the villages of the area. They thought that it was a good start to become known in the small society of this area and then to try further. Of course, the band and the singers won't be paid. Their work is volunteering. Their chance will come if they will have some recognition.
