The rainy season was supposed to stop at the end of April. However, it still rains occasionally in the heart of May. This was going to delay the completion of the natural park. Well, a few more days are not much. I have already finished with the contracts and the construction team helps us to build some new buildings for the new businesses. I have already talked to some sportsmen and trainers. With the completion of the park, they are going to come in Green Hill to begin their training and sport education. The new shop of New Leaf in Redville is almost ready. Mr. Rosewalt took over its fulfillment.
Mrs. Falcon is away all the time guiding and taking care of our artists. Their first appearance was a success. With the power of social media, they became famous in the local society and they now accept a lot of works as musicians in musical stages in Harrisonburg and other bigger towns of the area. Of course, the only thing they gain is fame as their earnings are filling the organization's treasury. Their work is volunteering.
Everything seems to go smoothly.
The final exam that will determine the youth's future is in a few days. All of them are studying really hard. They don't play much. The only one who has some free time is Maggie. Her second test was over two weeks ago and now she is waiting her results. With her usual dexterity, she can pass the exam, which has no much weight in her school of choice. So, she is the only one to visit me at the library after school. She brings her sketchbooks and drawing in the silence of the building while I fill some more papers from the organization.
-"You really like to draw and paint, don't you?" I ask her. She nods.
-"Then, before you go to school in New York, we can do some hiking in the park and find a magical place so you can draw and paint to your heart content." I suggest.
-"Magical place?" She asks with curiosity.
-"Yes. It is a place to stimulate your mind and bring forth your imagination. It will be your inspiration and your precious weapon in the world of artists." I say excitedly.
-"You speak as you know that I passed."
-"I am sure of it. Maggie, your talent is a fact. Nobody in their right mind will fail you."
-"Thank you. It was you and Justin that pushed me to try it. I was already determined to remain in this town for the rest of my life."
-"Why? Maggie, why didn't you have dreams or ambitions?" She doesn't answer. I can see the same sadness and darkness in her eyes. This reality bothers me. I want to ask her but I know that it is not so simple.
-"I would like to go to that magical place." She says after a while. Then she focuses on her drawing.
The phone rings. I pick it up. Mr. Jackson is on the other side of the phone.
-"Addie, the selling of the burned land is complete. The entrepreneur is going to start the construction of his resort at the end of May."
-"I see."
-"He wants to meet you. He wants to talk to you about the natural park."
-"When?"
-"Whenever you want."
-"I have a very tight schedule this month. However, I will try to find some free time for him. Give me his phone number."
This conversation is indeed important. We need to co-operate to have a harmonious business relationship and some productive results.

Because of the construction of the park, some new faces are appearing at the cafeteria. They are workers of the construction team or some scientists. The only place to enjoy some drinks is here. Thus, the cafeteria has a lot of customers and its earnings increased. It is good for the business. With that way, I can't imagine how things will be when tourists will come here in the future.
