You went back to the school dorms with Kazuha, and you noticed that Ayaka had been avoiding you more recently.

You told Kazuha about it and he said that Thoma was doing the same thing to him.

You and Kazuha told Ayato about it, and he only laughed and said to wait.

You and Kazuha looked at each other in confusion since only you two were the only ones not into whatever the other three were doing.

Kazuha just told you that there was nothing else to do but wait, so you grumpily complied.

You were somewhat of a patient person, but if something bothered you a lot, you couldn't help but want to confront whatever the problem was.

But, Kazuha knew that you would try to confront them, and possibly make the situation worse, so all he could tell you was to wait.

"...Kazu, are you into this too?" You asked, suspiciously.

"No, if I was, I would be more calm about this." Kazuha sighed.

"Fine, I'll wait. But it better not disappoint me." You said, crossing your arms.

You told the other guys about it, and they all seemed as confused as you were.

You sighed in frustration and closed your phone.

You could hear the vibration from your phone since it was on your desk because your friends kept texting you.

'Time to read an essay tomorrow then...' you thought, since you were too lazy to read the messages your friends kept sending.

You decided that you would go out and get a parfait to take your mind off of things so you got changed and headed out.

You walked downtown, since it was fairly close to your school and dorm.

You went to a parfait food truck and got one and started eating it on a bench.

"Hey girlie!" A cheerful voice says.

'I swear to god, I'm so tired I'm going to strangle this person here and now.'

You took in a quick breath and looked up.

"Oh, hi Childe." You said, pretending like you didn't just think about strangling him.

"What are you doing here, all alone?" He said, looking at you.

"I just wanted to eat a parfait." You said, trying to space out so that you didn't have to talk to him.

"I see. Did you get dumped or something?" Childe playfully asked.

"No, I'm not dating anyone."

"I thought you were dating that Kaedehara guy?" He asked, slightly surprised.

"He is just a good friend." You answered, not thinking much about your words.

"Are you sure? Because he is standing right in front of you." He said.

You snapped out of your thoughts when you saw Kazuha, trying his best to keep calm, in front of you.

"Kazuha?" You asked.

"Well, I've had my fun. Goodbye." Childe said, while getting up.

You stared at him in shock, as he walked away, like he hadn't just caused a misunderstanding.

Kazuha sat next to you.

"Am I really just a friend to you, y/n?" Kazuha said, sounding hurt.

"No, Kazuha, you are more than just a friend." You said, immediately regretting answering Childe's questions without thinking.

"...let's go to my dorm, and I'll explain." You mumbled, looking down at your shaking hands.
