i hung out of the sun roof letting the cool night air rush through my entire body. chills were sent up and down my spin as i let the rush of adrenaline hit me. i felt a hand trying to pull me back into the car, "𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘅?" i said as i pulled my body back into the car.

"𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆." he said as he pulled into my driveway. we said our good byes and i walked to my front door. there was a yellow note tapped on the peep hole. i grabbed the note off of the door and started to read it. "eviction notice, four days to get out!" eviction notice?

this can't be happening, at least not right now. i couldn't call my landlord up. because one i had no stable income, and two he was a straight dickhead. i had no one to call, they all have there own stuff going on in there lives. the last thing they need is me calling them up asking me if i can stay with them.

i slide down my door and put my heads in my face. i couldn't find a job in four days, let alone pack all my shit. what am i gonna do. i can't go back home, i won't. then they all will really have something to say. i got up, grabbed the note and walked inside. i sat down on my couch letting my eyes close

i could pity myself tonight, but after that i would get my shit together. if that meant asking for help so be it, momma didn't raise no bitch. i felt all the weight being lifted off my shoulders as i fell into a deep sleep.
