* Micheal and Abigail *
Pacing in and down after sending the wicked witches away, I was restless because I didn't know if the spell would affect Michael's.
Biting my fingernail, "I need to go before he comes back and meets an intruder in his once-in while home." peek through the window, "But I gave him my words I will stay."
I stopped by the window looking outside, thinking about what just happened, But, I still didn't understand; why were they trying to kill me. And what's doomsday they kept calling? Raising my hand to look at the ring, Is it because of this? I shook my head slightly, It can't be. We were told there is no other world aside from ours, no one could have contact with these humans to instruct them to kill me. Besides, Joel will want me alive, he will want the pleasure of killing me himself.
"But, what does she mean when she said 'We have been waiting for this and we are prepared?'" I whirled back at the crack of the door open. — It Micheal.
I turned my full body quickly trying to see if he remembered me.
"I bought you clothes and some provisions you might need on your journey." Closing my eyes slightly, I let out a relief breath.
"Is everything okay?" he scanned through my face.
I nodded, moved closer collected the bag, poured out what was inside, and took one of the dresses out. I smiled when I brought out the dress and raised it, "Is this what your ladies wear?"
"Yes! Some of them."
I whirled back, "Some of them?" I scoffed on the inside, these I saw today wear nothing as pretty as this. "What about the others?"
"Well," he moved closer, "they have... Their way of dressing."
I nodded with my lips bent, "So this is how you prefer your woman to dress!"
He smiled and sat down, resting his hand backward on the bed with his legs crossed. "You are not my woman."
You're right about that. Wiggled my eyebrows in a blink, "Oh I know." I whispered to myself and slightly looked away.
"Besides," he added, "People dress differently around here, but this will allow you to blend in among the people in the town."
"Blend in...!" I moved away towards the window and turned to face him. "I don't want to blend in Micheal, I want to keep moving."
A smile curved out from my eyes and filled my whole face at the sound of my name coming out of her mouth,
"You don't know where you are going, you can't just leave." goodness I don't want her to leave, am worried something might happen to her; it is not safe out there. "You need to know where you are going and find out about the place."
Unfolding my legs and rested my elbows on my knees.
"I grew up in this town, I have been to other towns as well, but ours is the largest where strangers can easily blend in. You can stay here and keep your head down. This is a safe place."
"Safe place you said? " I replied sharply. Believe me am doing you a favor, you and your black witches' families. If Joel ever finds his way out of that hate, he will stop at nothing to get to me and will kill anything standing in his way.
"Yes, this is a safe place."
I scoffed, "I doubt that." with a wiggled eyebrow then looked away.
"What do you mean?" He tilts his head with curiosity written on his face.
You can ask your mother when you see her, it is not my place.
"I don't want to stay, I need to keep moving." I moved back to the bed where I had laid out the dresses.
