The reversing spell Abigail cast only erases the witches memories, but not Michael's.

She paced front and back wondering maybe she should have taken Michael's too and disappear before he comes back, but she made him a promise to stay.

She was restless pacing up and down wondering why would they try to kill her. And what's doomsday they kept calling? She whirled at the crack of the door open.

"I bought you clothes and some provisions you might need on your journey," Micheal said as he came into the haunt.

Abigail moved towards him and collected the bag, she poured out what was inside, and took one of the dresses out. With a smile, she said, "Is this what your ladies wear?" Raising the dress.

"Yes! Some of them."

"Or is this how you prefer your woman to be dressed!"

He smiled and moved towards the bed, sat down, resting his hands on the bed with his legs crossed. "You are not my woman."

Wiggled her eyebrows, "Oh I know." she whispered to herself and slightly looked away.

"Besides," he added, "People dress differently around here, but this will allow you to blend in among the people in the town."

"Blend in...!" She moved towards the window and turned to face Micheal again. "I don't want to blend in Micheal, I want to keep moving."

A smile curved out from Michael's eyes and filled his whole face at the sound of his name coming out of her mouth.
"You don't know where you are going, you can't just leave. You need to know where you are going and find out about the place."

He unfolds his legs and leans his elbows on his knees.
"I grew up in this town, I have been to other towns as well, but ours is the largest where strangers can easily blend in. You can stay here and keep your head down. This is a safe place."

"Safe place you said? " She said sharply.

"Yes, this is a safe place."

She scoffed, "I doubt that." She said with her eyebrow raised then looked away.

"What do you mean?" He tilts his head with curiosity written on his face.

How can I tell him about his mother. I can't.
"I don't want to stay, I need to keep moving." She moved back to the bed where she had laid out the dresses.

"Are you running from someone or is someone after you? " Michael asked fixing his gaze on her like he was curious to know the answer.

"Why will you ask something like that?" She said without looking at him.

"I guess I just know. You have been looking over your shoulder since last night, you have not slept, and for someone with your power, you must be running from someone very powerful."

Abigail lifted her eyes and focused her gaze on him, a little smile curved on her lips because Michael reminded her of Joel, her lover.

"Why are you smiling?"

"You remind me of someone." She said with a grin on her face.

"Someone special, I guess with the look on your face?" He stood up and moved closer to her, bent his head to bring her face up with his eyes.

"Yes." She smiled.

"Your husband? "

"My lover, but now I guess my hunter." The smile disappeared.

"Your hunter? What do you mean? " He asked curiously as he took two steps trying to get in her line of vision.

Abigail looked at him with a frown. "I mean I can't stay here, I need to go and I need to go right now."

"It dangerous for you to walk in the daylight, tarry here till nightfall. You can go then. I will take you to the bother." He gave her reassuring look.

Abigail whirled back, then turned around, tilted her head to the side, and closed her eyes to listen, she could hear the footsteps of a woman coming from afar, and also see her.

She recognized the woman coming; it was Michael's fiance Cara. She opened her eyes immediately she saw her face. "I need to go now, you will have a visitor soon." She said parking the stuff into the leather bag.

"I'm not expecting anyone."

"But someone is coming for you."

"What are you talking about? " He grabbed her wrist; the minute his hand touched hers, something jolted through her again, like an electric shock.

It singed her blood, shuddered over her damp skin, in and deep into her chilled bones, and threw her unbalanced.

What on earth?

But she knew instinctively what it was. And staring up at him, she knew he felt it too. She immediately took her arm from him.

"I'm sorry." He flashed apology look at her.

"I need to go now Michael. I appreciate all you have done. Thank you for all your help.

"I will see you again. But before I go, I want you to remember; What you know is not always the truth Michael. Look within for answers not without. Sometimes, the enemy is closer than you think."

" I Don't understand." Micheal looked confused as she moved closer to him, cupped up his cheeks with her both hands, stared directly into his eyes as she erased herself from his memory left her last statement, and then vanished into thin air, with what he bought her.

"MICHAEL!" He turned back at the voice of his fiancee Cara and turned around again, scanned the room with his eyes, and then turned back.

She opened the door, "Your mother has been sick and worried about you, why don't you come home early?" She asked worried as she walked in.

"I have been..." He looked back again. "I have been..." Wait, what have I been doing? He asked himself.

"What have you been doing?" Moving closer to him. "Does something happen? Look at me," Cara turned his face towards her with her hand.

"I don't know, it's strange. I don't remember what have been doing. It feels like I was talking to someone not long ago." Micheal looks curious. "I don't know" wiggling his head, "it's strange." He rubs his fingers through his hair.

"Yes, it is." Cara looked around and back to him." Or maybe you have spent enough time in the forest." she said jokingly. "Common, let's go." She took his hand.

"I will meet you outside, let me close all the windows." He removed his hand slowly from hers, watched her walk towards the door, and moved to the window.

He reached his hand to draw the window close, he saw a glowing hairpin on the floor, and bent down and picked it up.

He brought it closer to his face, looking at it closely when suddenly Abigail's image flashed in his mind.

"Are you coming!" Cara said.

"Yes, am coming." He scanned the room again.
