Joanna signaled to the army that was standing beside her, 'Now'.

They had planned to attack once the battle commenced, when they noticed that their captain was getting weak, they would put all their power together and direct it to me to weaken me.

Joanna and the army hold hands and direct fire-like flood towards me. I turned immediately and shielded myself with the ring.

The reason why Joel told them to do that was for me to be distracted for just a second in other for him to strike a dead blow with the wand. And it happened exactly as he Joel planned.

In second of distraction, Joel and released the full fire from the wand, before I could turn around and shield myself, it was too late, the fire went through my chest and into the sky then back into me, like it was consumed.

Joel's eyes widened in surprise, he must have been expecting the fire to burn me to ashes immediately.

When Moloch sees that I was hurt, he seizes the opportunity and hits me with all he had with fire.

I whirled around slowly with my face toward the sky as I breathed, my knee buckled and I fell to my knees, as the fire lightning started reflecting on my skin like a worm. The ring had consumed too much fire, and it burned me from the inside.

"This is the end for you love. I told you it's just a matter of time." Joel gloats, "I will just wait here, let the fire burn you into aches and the ring fall off your hand." He turned to Moloch and walked towards him. "You are not getting anywhere that ring." he said in a commanding tone.

Lifted up my eyes and a tear drop, "Micheal!" I breathed out his name faint. "Michael! Help. Me.

Michael scanned around him, "What it is?" Anna questioned.

He got up in an heartbeat at the sound of me calling out his name. He sensed my pain, he knew I was wounded. "I need to go mother. If I don't, there will be no need for me to be alive."

"You will die."

"You're wrong mother. I won't. We're strong together.
But you are right about one thing, the witches of the old religion are not stupid: if am her weakness, I will also be her strength." Michael stormed out of the door and ran toward the battle line.

Clara was the first person that saw him coming. What are you doing here fool. This is no concern of yours. She said to herself.

Micheal saw me groaning, stretching and rolling on the floor in pain. He rushed towards me, picked me up to his laps. "You shouldn't have come." she whispered.

"Well, you called me. I can't resist even if I want to, it the linked thing." I sent him a questioning gaze. "Common Abigail, you can't die, we still have a lot to do together."

Moloch glared at Michael and Joel followed his eyes, "You must be Michael." Joel said, turning his whole body around toward them.

Michael glanced at him and back at me. "I don't know what to do. Tell me what to do."

"There's nothing you can do. She will die." Joel added.

Moloch was still looking, and suddenly it all came to his mind about the first day he saw Micheal: it was when Anna did not deliver the sacrifice; he saw him with me, the second time was at the house of prophecy, where Joel was attacking me, Michael was also there, Moloch knew because he saw him sneaking out. And suddenly he remembered the prophecy, how the mother will return and be received by her Receiver.

"Impossible." Moloch breathed out the word slowly. "You are right in front of me all this while and I never know."

I began to gasp for air, the fire had taken its toll on my veins.
