"The energy is coming from here." Joanna said pointing to the house of prophecy.

Mystic World armies had located us to the house of prophecy, and they had the house surrounded.

"We should go in now."

"No." Joel commanded.

"No?" Joanna echoed him, giving him a questioning look.

"We wait till she come out."

"Why?" She questioned.

Joel took steps after the other till he stood in front of Joanna, looking displeased. "If I say we wait, then we wait. You will no longer question my authority; do you understand me?" Speaking with authoritative tone, frowning his gaze at her.

She raised her hands in surrender. "Aye Aye captain." Joel nod and turned around. "But am just making sure we are still on the same page," her voice stopped his departure and he whirled back. "You know, since she's your lover and all." The rest of the army began to murmured, Joanna turned to them, "Oops," and back to Joel. "Sorry, that just slipped out. Thought everyone know and we are on the same page, captain." Her defying eyes was fixed on Joel without blinking as she moved closer to him, dusting his shoulder in challenging way. "You see Joel, you can't treating me. I don't like you and we are not in Mystic World anymore. I don't have to follow as you say."

Joel grabbed her wrist and twisted her around with it, hit her at the back of her knee, and put her down as he choke her with her arm. "Good you mentioned we are not home anymore... I can kill you and make it look like you die in battle." Joanna gasping for air, slapping Joel's arm to lower his grip. "I'm sorry, are you saying something?" Joel leaned in, but she was still gasping for air, then he pushed her away from the back of her head.

Joel turned around with his eyes changed to red in anger. "Anyone else have a problem?" He questioned in command and the army moved back in fear. "If anyone of you do not like my leadership, you are free to go." He raised his voice. "But if you choose to stay, you will not question me. Understand?"

"AYE CAPTAIN!" They all said in unison and matched their feet in agreement.

"We are not alone." I said as I moved closer to the entrance.

"Someone's here?" Michael stood up, folding up the scroll.

I turned around with my arms hands fold. "Not someone." Tilted my head. Michael gaze lingering on me with questioning look. "The whole army is outside."

"How do they find us? What do we do?" He said with fear on his face.

"We do nothing." I said straight.

Michael recognized that look on my face. "No, you will not shut me out again, you promised me." He moved closer.

"Michael, this are not witches. The lowest of them is as equal to your gods, do you understand me?"

"And you want to fight them alone." Running disapproving look at me.

"I'm not alone. I have this." I lifted my hand, showing the ring.

"But we have not yet discovered how to use that thing yet. For as—"

"We don't have time! " I snapped. "We need to get out of here. Joel don't have problem bringing this whole building down on us if he can't penetrate through my magic. You will die in an heart beat."

"Is that what you worried about. Me? " Micheal reached for my hand, and again energy jolted through my vain. I snatched my hand from him and look into his eyes surprised. "What is that?" He breathed the words in question.  "Do you also feel that?" I nods. Yes "It happens almost every time we touched. What does it mean? "

I do not have a solid explanation for it, but I recognize power when I feel one, and that was a lot of energy surge. —Power. Power like none I ever felt before, not even with the ring on my finger.

I glared at him and said. "We have to go, but know this; the second Joel sees you... You became a target. He will come for you just to get to me.  I can't give him that much of leverage. So please Michael, stay here. I will meet you at the haunt house."

"He will find out about me soon enough. Unless you have a way to send them back anytime soon." Raising up his brows.

I raised my lashes at him lowly as I stretched myself to stand on my toe and place a kiss on Michael cheek, near the corner of his mouth.

The fragrance of my hair and skin mingled with softness of my lips and the warmth of my energy, penetrate through him. Almost soft his soul but Michael stood his ground. I knew he wanted to hold on to me, but instead he looked displeased but he knew I was right. The war will be close to over ones the enemy has an advantage.

He looked down and took both of my hands, "I will stay. You have my word." He agreed with me and I nodded; removing my hand from his slowing as my gaze lingering on both of our hands as the warmth was replaced with cold.

Lifting my hands and eyes without chanting, I removed the seal I placed on the house, step forward and looked back at Michael one more time, he nodded earnestly, reassuring me and I nods back.

I knew I might have I fight my way out of this, so I was ready for anything. I don't want to hurt any of my people, but I won't let them hurt me or Micheal.

I walked out the room toward the entrance of the building and a burst of thunder shook the house, lightning flashed around the edges of the sky, the clouds began to change colour, then heavy wind start to blew the armies off balance. — The ring must have sensed my anger and readiness to fight.

Joel turned towards the front door. "She's here!" he raised his voice, "Everyone stand your ground. We finished this right here and now!!!"

They matched their feet and stood their ground facing the entrance. Ready to take down whatever that comes out from that gate.
