The Bait

"Anna! My sweet Anna. You have been no where to be found. And here I am thinking you will be by my side ones I arrive."

"Not so my lord. I was in town making sure the towns people do not get any suspicious of what is going on. If Gorge Gilbert is missing, and I am no where to be found, there will be suspicious my lord. I need to make sure everything is smooth without any complications, my lord."

"You have done well. Come, seat with me."  Moloch commanded and Anna moved closer and sat beside him.

She wore her confidence look alright, but on the inside, Anna was terrified. She knew Moloch to be a deceiver, she was not sure if he bought the story she feed him, but she had no choice, she must sit down.

"Clara Benedict is doing your job as we speak. The bait is set, and the target will fall into it."

"The bait?" Anna asked with fear.

"Yes. I know where the witch is and with whom." Anna turned in fear, she could not hide it. "Oh, don't worry my dear. I will not harm your boy."

Anna gasp in fear. Does Moloch know about Michael being the Receiver? "My boy?" She asked like she does not know what he was talking about.

"I know she's with him. I don't blame him, she's a beautiful woman. Your boy will not be harm, I promise you, and I promise Clara nothing will happen to her man. You should calm yourself." he assured her.

Moloch was still ignorant of the fact that Michael was Abigail Receiver. That a relief. Anna left out a soft breath.

"I believe you, my lord. What do you want me to do?"

"Keep your boy at home. I know he's still hiding the witch. Ones Michael is occupied with you, he will be out of harms way. You have but one job Anna, keep your boy by your side. Or else, I can't guarantee what can happen to him if he stand in the way."

"You don't want me to go to war with you, my lord?"

"I have others to do that. I need you here.
Send for your son, and keep him with you till I send you a word."

"Yes my lord. I will do as you command."

Anna got up, bow her head and left Moloch presence. Went straight to her house, then contact Abigail immediately.

After Abigail appeared in front of her, she told her everything Moloch was planning.

"I will send Michael to you." She agreed.

"What?"

"This is not human fight Anna. This is a fight between a god, demon and a goddess." Abigail smiled at the sound of calling herself a goddess. "As long as his true identity is not out yet, we still have advantage."

"What do you want me to do?"

"Exactly what your lord commanded you Anna." she said in command tone and vanished without giving Anna chance to reply.

Abigail appeared back in from of Michael.

"No!" Michael disagree before she can talk.

"Yes, Michael, you are going."

"If you think am going to leave you, you must be out of your mind."

"I'm not having this argument with you Michael. You need to be protected. If either of those two find out who you are, you are dead."

"So you think Joel who will turn against you, is who you can trust."

"Why do you think I linked his eyes and ears to mine? I need to know what he's planing. Of cause I know I can never trust Joel, that why I linked him.
Don't you see Michael" Abigail moved closer, "I have an advantage on both of them. I know exactly what they will do. I can get ride of them ones and for all. "

"Abigail, you don't know how powerful Moloch must have been this past few years. He can't be the same Moloch that your people cast out. Nineteen innocent soul is a lot of energy to infuse dark magic. He's no longer a demon, he's a god."

"Oh please, Moloch is no god, he can never be.
    If he can face me, he won't need the help of Joel to weaken me before he strike; because that exactly what Moloch will do. He has always been a coward."

"What if he succeed. Abigail! " Michael reached for her hands, and the energy surge was heighten this time. "We are powerful together. I heighten your power, I know you can feel it."

"We still don't know why this power were giving Michael. One thing I know about magic is that if i use too much more than my body can take, it will kill me. I don't know the limit yet."

"Let me stay close Abigail, if you need me, I can come help." He stirred deep into her eyes and searches them. "I can't lose you."

"I will send for your mother then, let her come and stay with you here.
In the main time, contact Clara, make her believe her bait is set."

"Tell her the opposite." She smiled.
