* Abigail and Micheal *
Rolling my eyes in displeased, because I did not want to have anything to do with Michael's fiancé. Not only because the witch and her crew just tried to kill me but I also need to keep moving. I had a bigger problem coming after me than having a catfight over a man with a witch.
— It's not what got me into this mess in the first place.
Micheal glanced at her, then focused his eyes back on me.
"Cara!" Jimmy said as he walked closer to her. "Lione and his brother were trying to cause trouble with this young princess, we stepped in to defend her honor," Jimmy explained to smooth the air,
She must have trusted Michael because her countenance changed when Jimmy explained the situation from jealousy to looking uncomfortable at the way Michael was looking at the so-called pretty princess as Jimmy called it.
I don't blame her, I would feel the same way too if my man had not removed his gaze from another woman while I was standing in front of him.
She glared at me suspiciously and walked toward me with, 'that my man' expression, and then turned to Micheal. "Where is she from?"
"That's what I was just asking her." He replied without removing his eyes still.
She glanced at me again, "My dear," She talked calmly. "where are you from?"
I rolled my eyes again in displeased -like- does she just call me dear? I scoffed softly through the nose. Okay, I need to get out of here before this witch decides to call me sweetheart.
"You don't look like you're from around here," she continued as she scanned me from head to toe, "and yet, you look so familiar.
...Have we met before?"
That's it, I need to leave now.
Of course, I know she can never remember me, my magic was too strong, for any human to resist.
Well... That was what I thought.
Micheal quirked a bemused eyebrow at her. "You know her?" He glared back at me, then back to Cara.
"I cannot be sure, I don't remember where... But I feel like I'd seen her somewhere recently before.
...Let's take her to your mother."
I quietly surveyed my surroundings, "What do I do now? I'm not going with this witch to meet the witch!" I whispered to myself.
"Do you say something?" Cara leaned her head closer.
I narrowed my eyes, — eyes that looked eerily at and beyond Cara. It's almost like I hated her, and it wasn't because she tried to kill me, nor because she was Michael's fiancee, but it was something more, something stronger. I felt it too when she first uncovered her face and also when she came back for Micheal.
But whatever it is, I won't be here to figure it out. I don't have business with your kind.
"Thank you for all your help," I finally spoke up. "But am not going anywhere with you," I said with a straight face.
"This is not my first time in this town," I continued, "am just passing through. I will be on my way now." I bent my head in a sign of gratitude then turned and started walking.
* Micheal *
I was about to follow her when Cara held my wrist, "If she wants to go, let her. You are not responsible for her anymore."
