Moloch was exactly who I thought he was. A coward. He cast a binding spell on all the witches of Salam, including Anna, even though she wasn't going to be on the battlefield. Moloch binds them together to heighten his power before sending them to the battle.
Even though he knew they wouldn't be able to defeat Joel not less of me, he knew it would be a suicide mission, but he sent them anyway, knowing they would sure give a fight before any of them died and the chain broke, and by then, one of his enemies would have been weak, if not both of them, before coming out and finish the job himself. All he had to do was to stay close and watch the battle afar off.
Joel on the other hand was a bit smarter. There was another wand that Joel brought from Mystic World, that no one knew about; not even Joanna, and certainly not me.
The linked spell I cast on Joel was to see and hear everything he sees and hears, because Joel did not mention the wand to anyone, I was unable to know about it.
The wand belongs to Joel's family. It was passed from one captain to the next, with the power and energy of everyone who ever wielded it. Joel wouldn't have brought the wand with him if it wasn't for his mother who insisted on him bringing it. He never thought bringing me back would turn into a battle.
Years ago Joel's grandfather "Kalel" went to the forbidding and sacrificing what he shouldn't have in order to acquire the power to bring down the tyrant who once wield the ring, but at his returned, the elders had done his job for him and turned against him when they found out what he had done. But before they could lay hold on him, he had infuse all his power into that wand.
That makes that wand a carrier of unimaginable power. Joel knew with his both enemies in one place, he could win with an element of surprise.
On the other hand, I was one step ahead of Moloch. I had kidnapped Sylvia and enchanted her with cloaking spell: which cloaked Sylvia like me, and also gave her some of her memories: that means Sylvia will not just be in the battle, but she will be fighting like me but with Moloch's power.

The battle commenced the second the witches saw me — not knowing it was one of their own.
As Sylvia walked towards the witches.
"Something is wrong?" Joel said to Joanna who was behind him.
"What do you mean?" Joanna glanced at him briefly and at me from afar.
"Abigail will not just walk into this place like this without some thunder or wind storm. She sure loves to make an entrance." Joel tilted his head like he was trying to figure something out.
Joel knew something was wrong, but he did not know what it was. He knew it too easily, I was never an easy target.
The witches began to send fire and cast spells together to attack Sylvia, but something was holding them back, they were not at their full strength. And none of them thought to ask of Sylvia, because Anna had told them Sylvia was gathering some herbs to help them, and with a little help from my enchantment, none of them knew any better.
So while they were fighting me which was Sylvia, they were actually fighting themselves.
From afar, Moloch could sense something was not right, but my magic was too strong, no one could break it until Sylvia died and Moloch's binding spell broke, that was when Joel realized they had been fooled.
Joel walked forward, clapped his hands, and laughed loudly. "I think the tricks are over now. BOTH OF YOU COWARDS! SHOW YOUR FACE AND LET END THIS!" He shouted.
