Find Her

Gilbert placed spies on Micheal and Jimmy, then he doubled the guards at the border to make sure no one got in or went out.

He told the guard to report to him immediately any suspicious movement.

"You have to look for the princess. Gilbert will not relent until he finds her. You have to find her first Mike."

"I need to talk to mother first. I will see you at the feast tonight."

Micheal and Jimmy departed as Michael went to his mother.

Micheal did not know what his mother would say or what she might ask.

Michael and his mother were very close. Of course, they don't always see eye to eye on some things - for example; Michael does not want to marry Cara Benedict, and he could not understand why his mother wants him to.

But Anna wanted her son to marry Cara because she came from a long line of witches. The Benedict family has always been known to be the right hand of a great witch who once resided in Salam. 'PANDORA.'

Though no one knew what become of her. She just vanished in the midst of a great war after she destroyed Sofia Bernard.

"Mother!" Michael said as he approached and stood in front of his mother.

"Seat down." She commanded.

"I will remain standing." He refused.

"Seat. Down."

Reluctantly Micheal sat down next to her.

"Gilbert wants my place and he will not rest until he turns the whole town against me.

" Now, I will only ask you this one time and you should do well to tell me the truth. Who is this woman? "

"I don't know mother. All I knew was Gilbert's sons were attacking her, Jimmy and I intervened and set the girl free, but knowing Gilbert's sons; I knew they would follow her, so I beat them to it.

"I followed her quietly to the forest of Assetin. I can tell she is a stranger because only a fool go into those woods alone, especially on a day like today.

" She stopped in the middle of the road and turned back, she must have perceived me following her. She asked me what I wanted from her, and I was about to answer when Gilbert's sons showed up.

"I wanted to fight them so she could run, but I saw her display something I'd never seen before Mother.

"There was no fear. When I told her to run, she said she could take care of herself, and before I could take down Peciva, she had taken down Cane and Lione in a few seconds.

"The only thing I remember was them crying like a child because she had dislocated both their arms and fingers. That's all."

Michael left the path of him suspecting that she was in his haunt that morning.

"I know not where she is, nor where she was going. I swear to you, Mother."

Micheal's mother sighed. "She is definitely not from around here. But do you see any trace of magic?"

"No mother. I just haven't seen anyone fight like that."

"I have heard of women who were raised by their fathers to fight in war in another town. She must have been from the other town."

"But what is she doing here? "

"That I cannot answer. This is what I need you to do, you need to find her and take her to your haunt and hide her there till after the festival.
