Ch 13 A family chat

Mrs Y/N Pov

We decided it would be best to get pizza as we both don't feel like cooking after today. As I ordered the pizza, Jasper came down. " Hey you ordering the pizza" " Yes by that way did you get that appointment set up." He nod and from the stairs I could hear tiny footsteps coming down. Adam soon join and ask where he find papers and a pencil. I told him where it was. He rush over to get the papers and pencil. With the papers and pencil in hand he got to work on something in the dining room. "What you working on buddy" I ask. He look at me for a second but don't answer. " Where are the scissors"? "Same room as the papers" I said. Kid again when back to the room and got a pair of scissors.

I ask again what was he working on. He again gave the same look and when back to work. From what I could tell. He was drawing something then cut them out to make them like figures. Jasper was able to take a seat near Kid. Kid process to give him a look that said you wouldn't dare sit. Jasper back away causing the both of us to be concerned for Adam. Once Kid was done cutting, he started to move the figures around and talk under his breath. I ask again with this time he reply. " It nothing and beside it a bit dumb." " Adam, I wants us to have a good and loving parents to child relationships. But to do that your going to need to be more open honest with me. And I sure this thing of yours is not dumb." I gently insured.

He signed and started to speak. " You know how I told you guys how I haven't finished the last mission in the game. Well I decided to make a new plan to finish it. Sent we can't do the old plan, I need a new plan that works and has the least amount of chance of people died."I was shocked. " Wait what. You all ready moving on to that Kid. You just fight a monster and almost die. Don't you think you should rest up first." I reminded him. He slam both hands on the table and started to argue. " You guys don't and will never understand the pain I been in. I saw and live the horrible things the principals in both schools. I knew what to do in order to stop it but couldn't instead I made things worst. And now that I have the chance, I am not going to waste that chance. As for ever second I don't do something, is a second that those kids down there are suffering."

Kid Pov
I seat back down on my seat. The realization hit me, I talk back to her. That bad like top level bad right. God why did I let my emotions get to me like that. I bet she going to give quite the talk about not speaking back or maybe she give me a punishment. My heart and breathing started to race. What kind of punishment will she use? Will she send me to my room? Hit me? Not let me eat dinner? Have me do some chores? Ground me? Kick me out? Kill me? Do they hate me? Am I going back to the system? I shouldn't of did my planing in my room. Got are they looking at me. Probably because I having a panic attack. They must think I weird and only want me as they felt bad for me. God why do I have to be so dumb. All I needed to do was kept in line so that way this wouldn't happen. " Kid". Maybe the demon was right maybe I sure of jump.

" Adam." I guess the demon was right who was I kidding. A felt a pair of hands on my shoulder. "Kid listen, everything going to be ok." It was Jasper, I started to calm down and look at the two. I felt a small tear down my face. I wipe it off and prepare for the worst. I took a breath and close my eyes. " Good a head, do your worst." " What are you talking about" they both ask. I open eyes. " Your not going to kill or hurt me." They both look at each other and knew why I thought that. " Kid you know we won't do that. You were only acting on instinct back there" said Mrs Y/N." I know." I pick everything and when upstairs back to work.

Few minutes past and the door bell rang. I when down to the dining room and saw one box of pizza. My mouth watered at the delish smell. I don't remember the last time I had pizza. " Someone ready for dinner" Said Mrs Y/N. I nod and started to eat. Few minutes past and I had 3 pieces of pizza with now a fourth one my plate. " Wow Kid how can you eat so much" ask Jasper. " Well I haven't ate good warm food in a long time let a load pizza." " Now that you think of it. How did you get food in the first place?" Said Mrs Y/N

"I would go to the community garden or get the free sample in the farmers market or when ever event. I also would go to the park and try to find some foods or get something to plant in the spring. Fall my favorite as I get free food from Halloween. Leftovers from Thanksgiving in people trash. The fall farmers market is my favorite event with all the food and activity. I also believe that in the fall vs spring war fall it better, not just for the food but the leafs are beautiful. Also if I need to hide, I got leaf piles on my back."

" Speaking for question, can I ask you a few?" Said Jasper. I nodded yes and he continue on " Where did you even get those cigarettes from." I paused, was I really going to do this. " Well you see, each day after school. I would go and stop by the hall monitor house to get some cigarettes." Jasper was shock, " He JUST given then to you." " Welllllllllll no, he don't JUST give them to me. You see, I maaaaaaaaay have use blackmail" I said try to act as innocent as possible. " How were you able to blackmail him?" Said Mrs Y/N. I about to answer when she interrupted me " You know what, I have a feeling that it be best I don't know." We all nodded in agreement to that. I finished up and head to my room to continue to plan.

Few hours later, Mrs Y/N came in. " Ok Adam time for a bath. I got the tub set up but first" She took my plan set away. " What was that for." " Kid let be honest, your going to be staying up all night on this. You need a good night sleep after all the hardships from the last few days. I mean you literally, fight the principal in your old school, deal with time loops, go through a lockdown, just got off smoking. Help peptalk your classmates, made a plan to fight a monster, fight that said monster, almost die and got hurt. Run away and don't do suicde, decide to be a foster kid and planning to fight the new principal" she argue.

I wanted to argue back but there was nothing I could do. " Ok fine your right." "o and I also, I have to meet with Cindy and Lily parents at 10. So Jasper and I thought that when I doing the meet. You two can clothes shopping." " But you don't have to do that." " Kid, it becoming fall. All you have that fit you. Is some T shirts and grey hoodie." Again I wanted to say something but knew she was right. I let her won and got ready for bed.

A/N I sorry this is a day later, school been keeping me busy. I hope you enjoy parenting Kid. Next chapter about the meet with the parents. After that chapter is the clothes shopping and the twins ( which is a one of my top favorite for me). You guys Monday.
