Ch 27 Operations Sneak out

Kid Pov
It the was day before we start operating sneak out. Me and mom, I mean Y/N were coming back from school. As we enter the house, there was a elderly men sitting at the stair checking his phone. " Dad what are you doing here early" Y/N  ask. Wait what, if this is her dad then that means. " Well the closest fight could only takes me here now or a week after Halloween. And I couldn't wait that long" the man answered. The man looked like how I picture Jasper to look like when he gets older, minus the grey beard and eye colors Y/N got from. " Well Adam this is your grandfather Louis" she introduced us. " Hey there Adam, it nice to meet in person. I your grandfather."

I slow nodded my head and rush to my room. Listen he seems like a nice guys and I wouldn't hate the idea of getting to know him ( ok maybe 30% hate the idea). But I don't got time for that. I HAVE to focus on the plan. And me befriending him could ruin that, if he finds out the truth. I can't take the risk.

" You sure you can handle babysitting Adam" Y/N ask. It was night of are plan both Y/N were heading out to the Janitor funeral. And Jasper was having a night out with his friends. " Don't worry a thing, I did raise you and your brother." She gave me a hug goodbye and whisper in my ear to be good. You know normal mom stuff, I mean FOSTER mom stuff. God what with me today, with her and Jasper now gone. The house now only had Louis and me by the stairs " So buddy you want to do something together" he ask. I just ignored him and when to my room. Grab my bag and head to kitchen to full my bag with snack.

You see each one of us is in charge to bring a item for the mission, Lily and Billy with makeup ( To hide some bruises and cuts if we get some. Which hopefully not) Nugget with first aid. Now my was the MOST important job, as not only did I have to bring snack for everyone to recharge. But I the ONLY one that can spawn Penny. And without her the plan is useless. I turn around to find, o just great " What with all the snack there" Louis ask. Ok think what should I say, I got it " I was very hungry and was planning on eating in my room" I lied with try to fight the urge to bit my lip. He seen to buy it " Well it is almost dinner time, but I want you to put them back. Don't want to ruin your apatite" he told me. I put them back, after all I needed to act good and normal to not draw suspicious. I when back to my room and just wait ( hope the other are not to mad at loosing snack).

After a hour of fake sleep, it was time. I grab Penny remote from by box under my bed. Open my bedroom window and headed out in the night with only my grey pj on ( We also agreed on only wearing black,grey,white or brown to help us camouflage better). After some running; I finally made it to are meet spot. " Hey guy, sorry couldn't bring the snack" I told them. " It fine, did you at bring least Penny remote" Lily ask. I nodded yes, " Did you guys do your part of the plan" I ask. They also nodded yes. " We better get going now, time ticking" said Billy.

We had reached the school, Billy started unlock the outside school grate.

Stacy Pov
I was having trouble sleeping, so I decided to look at out my bedroom window. There wasn't much to see other then the school. I was about to leave when I noticed that Adam and his friends were down there. I watch as one of his friends doing something to the grate as Adam talk to the others. A idea came, I grab my camera and took a picture. I let out a big grim as the pictures pint out. I headed to Mia room, I turn the lights on and started to try to wake Mia up. " Not now Mom, it to early" she gown" Mia you will not believe what I just saw" I whisper. " This better be good." She got up and I show her the photo. " No way" she whisper shock. " Yes way, we can finally now get are answers from Adam. With this as blackmail" I whisper cheer.

Kid Pov
"Hurry up Billy." " I trying to Lily, there a lot" argue Billy. " Can you two just keep it down" I told them. Billy finish with the grate and we headed down under the school. Under was this crave like room " Ok let g-" Nugget put a hand on my mouth to stop me. I look forward to see a brown reptile skin like monster that was two times my size. Two arm and legs with sharp claws, with big eyes both close a sleep. Now all we needed to do was cross, but for some weird reasons the ground was cover with stick everywhere. Maybe the principal added the stick for security reasons, who knows.

We tried to cross it till, snap.! "Roaaaaaaaaaaaaaar" screams the monster. " All of Nuggets friends, RUN" yell Nugget! Now I know what your thinking, wait you guys don't plan for this. No we don't, because A, the plan was designed to NOT have this happen, B, if we did get caught sneaking out having a weapon would only make things worst, and C, where would we even get one. We run out as quick as we could, but Lily kept try to push forwards" Lily are you insane, your going to die in there" call out  her brother.

Lily was about to make it to the underground elevator when the monster claw at her face. She screamed and run right out. Billy screw the grate back on as quickly as he could. Nugget and I had a look at the cuts in Lily face, there was three cuts on her right cheek, one on her forward head and two on the other cheek. Billy finish the grate and join us " Nugget thinks that Pretty Lily should see a doctor. Nugget is not able to help, the cuts are too big and too deep." " But what kind of excuse are you going to use to explain those cuts" I ask. " Simple, are babysitting can be very mean. So me and Lily can just say, that we run away. And as we run away, Lily got attacked by a raccoon. That how we would example the cuts" Billy answered. I stun, were they serious. They again some of the adults here can be very dumb. So maybe it would work. We each headed home. I got back in my room close the window and just lay there in bed.

I tried to sleep but my brain and anxiety kept me up. Ideas about what could of been done. Worst case scenarios that could happened to us in the past of future. Question likes, will Lily and Billy parents believe them? Did someone get caught? Will we be able to make a new plan? How much long can we keep doing this? All three of those started to feed in to my anxiety attack. So I try to calm myself down with some breathing. After a ten minute, I had finally calm down and when to sleep. Just in the nick of time.

Y/N POV
I unlock the door and we enter in " Hey dad how was kid for you" I ask. " Very well but most of the time all he did was be in his room. I try to bond with him but he just push me off" he said. " Dad don't worry. This is very normal. Just give him some more time." I put my jacket away in the closet and headed to check on Adam. He was sound a sleep. I pull the covers over him ( not sure why they weren't on him). I smile; he looks cute when he's a sleep. I close the door the behind me. I sigh in relief knowing that everything when perfect fine - right?
