Ch 17 The janitor story

Mrs Y/N Pov
I park the car and took the pumpkins from yesterday. We walk in to the class and started to get it ready. Adam was getting the tables ready by placing the pumpkins and paint. I started to tape on some fun Halloween wall decorations. Few later the kids each came in and took there seat (stay kids as the lockdown but added Ted).

" Ok kids, now as you see there are a few white pumpkins on your desk with paint. Today you guys get to paint them all and by the end of the day take them home. Also sent the day before Halloween is a school day. We are going to have a school dance during morning time and gym." I excited announce. All the kids cheered and got to work, I started to play some music and worked on my only pumpkins.

Kid Pov
I have to admit, I was impress how everyone was starting to like and trust her. Everyone was at friendship level with her as for me, well I not sure. I decided for my pumpkin I would paint it like a demon. If you ask me, are demons are the most frightening ones of them. As if on cue he came back, " Hey Kid, I see your making your pumpkins after me. I have to say I quite flatter." I gave him the silent treatment. " Why so quiet? Your normal more talkative." " I not in the mood" I whisper to myself.

" But Kid, I just here to help you and remember we agreed to do a bit of cutting. So maybe after school when Mrs Y/N and Jasper are not around you can. And maybe after you did a number on your arm you can do a stab on your chest." The angel interrupted. " Adam don't listen to that demon, don't do as he said." " Hey listen here angel, I just helping Adam here. So Adam should we." The angel voice try to find some reason. " So we got a deal, do hurt to the arm then chest." " Wait don't. You need to help the others." I stop painting and try to listen in to what the angel said. " You can't kill yourself without knowing if the others would be find." " That makes sense" I said. The demon growled. " Fine once all the kids here are know to be fine then, Adam will kill him self. But he gets to cut his arm a bit." The angel signed, knowing this was the best it could do.

The two voices left, giving me some peace. I finish my pumpkins and when to play with Nugget, Lily and Billy. As we played, I heard Monty and Cindy talking. " Why can't we have revenge on the Janitor now Monty." " Well for starter my chair not ready and we need a way past Penny if you wanted that knife in." " She so annoying how can she even know I have it."

I stop playing and when to the two. " Hey Monty, I heard you need help with your chair ray gun." The two turn to me. " Well I can help with that. And Cindy, Carla can help you there." The two were unsure but agreed. " In that case, it looks like tomorrow. We will be have revenge on the Janitor." Cindy cheered, tomorrow lunch was going to be interesting.

All the kids have finished there pumpkins ( very quick I must say) and were just playing or talking with each other. Buggs pumpkin was all black with some red as blood, Cindy had a orange pumpkin with pink flowers on it, Ted had a normal looking jack o lantern, Nuggets also has normal jack o lantern with again red paint as blood, Lily was a cat ( two minds think a like), Billy was a dog, Kid was a demon ( I think, it was very hard to tell).

I put all the pumpkins on my desk to dry. With the pumpkins drying, I turn to see what the kids were up to. Not much so I started to put the paints back in there bag as well as the extra pumpkins ( maybe this can be a activity area for the party). When I check on the kids again, Cindy was cheering about something, Adam and Monty were making some kind of deal. What were they up to? I check the time, 15 minutes left. I remember the book I had brought in and pull it out of my bag. Nugget saw and ask if we were going to read it. " I don't see why not." He smile and soon the others got in a circle on the rug.

I show them the book, it was a Pete the cat book, Halloween theme. All the kid but Buggs and Adam were happy to have me read. " Don't you two want to hear it" I ask. Buggs answer first. " It just so kid like." " The fact that I sure be 11 but in a 6 years old body makes me feel dumb when reading or hearing. As I know those books, are meant for kids quotes on quote my age can have dumb problems or dumb answers or both." Continue Adam. The two look at each other and nodded in agreement at what they just said ( except for maybe the age part, that seems like a Kid only thing). 

Adam then whisper something in to Buggs ears. Whatever the idea is Buggs seems happy about it. " Mrs Y/N can I use the bathroom" he ask. " Sure" I said, trying to act like I don't know why he really needed the restroom. I mean it was pretty obvious but I don't wanted to ruin him mood.

Buggs Pov
I can't believe that she actually believe that idea Kid came up with. Wait why did he help back there, ooof who care. I grab my cigarette and started to light it up with a homemade lighter I made with few batteries. " Hey kid." It was that janitor. " I see you have a cigarette there. I hadn't have one sent I was your age. Mine if I have one, I in the mood for nostalgia today." I handed him a cigarette. He took the cigarette and lit it with my lighter.

" You know speaking's of kids. Did you know that I had a son." I a shock, I mean what else could I say. " You have a son." " Sure do, haven't seen him since he was 3." " What his name." " Don't know, haven't seen him in a long time after that one fight with me and my wife. I think his name started with a B." I frozen, there was a lot of similar coming up. " Do you remember everything about you and your kid." He paused to think about it. " Well if he was behaving badly. I would tell him this story about how lighting would come down and kill him in his sleep." He laughed. " And o boy did he it believe. Why, I could practically try to picture seeing his face when he hears about the weather for the night. His screaming of fear and terror with each light. Were very enjoyable to listen to with a good beer. That is as long as my wife doesn't try to ruin the fun by taking my drink or calm are child down." He finish his cigarette. " Hey kid can I get a second one." " I got to go to class" I grumble.

I left the bathroom and renter the classroom. The class was shock that I was back. " Welcome back Buggs, you sure were in there for a while. Morning time is almost up" said Mrs Y/N, in one of those disgusting friendly teacher voices. I don't bother to answer and when to seat back down to kid. " Buggs what are you doing back. I told you, if you wanted to skip out on the story. You have to wait it out till lunch" Kid whisper to me. I check to make sure no one was listening. " Tell Monty and Cindy that I joining there revenge plan." The bell rung and we were off for lunch

A/N  I can't believe I saying this but the janitor got some character added to him. Next chapter is going to take place in the cafeteria with the kids revenge. Also spoiler there going to be more then one revenge and a food fight scene. I hope you enjoy next chapter in three days.
