Ch 31 Sick day

Kid Pov
Before I even got out of bed; my head and stomach were aching. " Kid breakfast is ready" Y/N called. I as walk down to the kitchen, the pain only gain with each step. Unfortunately all three adults there. I took a seat next Jasper who was checking his phone. Louis was making breakfast for the adults with Y/N by his side waiting for her coffee. Today breakfast was leftovers pancakes Jasper got his way to work yesterday morning.

However each bit of my pancakes only made stomach worst. It was taking all my will not to throw up. If today wasn't a school day. I would of made myself throw up instantly. I can't believe I actually saying this, but I can't miss a day of school there. I know shocking, actually considering what my school is like. I know maybe if I finish my food faster then I be able to throw up sooner in the bathroom. I gobbled up my food with all me will.

" Woah Kid slow down. Why are you eating so fast?" Said Jasper. Stop to take a breather, ok so maybe that wasn't my smartest idea. But I blame me being sick of that. " I hunger that's all" I said and bit my lip. Jasper rise a eye brow. " What are you two talking about" said Y/N as she pour in her coffee. " Nothing" I lied. She noticed me biting my lip. " Adam plea-." Before she could finish. I instantly run up to trash can and throw up. Once I done, I just seat there. Y/N put her hand my forehead, and for the looked at her face. It's look like I wouldn't be going to school soon. Jasper check one of cupboard for a thermometer and took my temperature. " 102 F" said Jasper. " That not to bad right" I said asking like I don't know what going to happen.

" You probably got it from sneaking out" said Y/N who was wiping up my face. " Well technical he could of catch the bug in other ways" jump in Jasper. Y/N give him a look that I couldn't tell what it was meaning. Whatever it was, I was enough to change Jasper mind. " But then your reason sister could definitely be the most likely cause." Y/N picked me up. " Why didn't you tell us you were sick" said Louis. " Well it's to later for me to call in a sub for the kids. And with Jasper going to work. So dad can you watch Adam." " Wait what, your making me stay here" I argue. " Your sick and you need to rest up" said Y/N as put me on the couch. I couldn't believe this, doesn't she know that I can't stay. I need to help Billy, Lily and Nugget. I had to do something.

Wait of course, how could I forget. I am six years old boy that means all I need to do it throw a tantrum. I run to the door, this seems like a nice spot. Ok I know what your thinking, but if you were in my shoes. You would of done the same. " I NOT STAYING HOME" I screamed and cried. I also started to stump my feet. " Ad-." I interrupted Y/N by screaming at the top of my lungs. All three of them started to cover there ears with Y/N coming closer to me. I continue to scream, stump and now pull at the door. Without me realizing it, Y/N grab me. I continue to kick and scream as she put me to the couch again. I started to calm down but kept my anger face.

" Adam, you and I are both very aware about what this is about." I try turning my face away from her, but she just pull it back. " You are sick Adam. You need to stay here and rest. I understand that you don't want to be here without me or Jasper. I understand and know why you wanted to come. But-" She voice now turn firm. " That doesn't justify your behavior. You know better then to just throw a tantrum. And you did kick me early. I want you to say sorry about both to me." I took a breath and calm down for real. " I sorry." Her voice when back to normal and let go of my face. " Good, now as me and Jasper leave for work. I want you to behavior, you are still being punished for sneaking out. Also for kicking me and throwing a tantrum you are now grounded of 5 days instead of 4. Also no sneaking out this time, ok." I nodded my little head yes. After a good ten minutes both of them left for work.

Louis Pov
I was washing the dashes from breakfast. Adam was looking at the door for some reason. At first I thought it was because he didn't want to be here. That was a till. " You think they would come back" he said. " O don't worry one bit. I sure there be back be before you know it" I said. I finish up and seat next to him, with him still eyes on the door. " But for now, let focus on getting rid of that nasty bug in there" I said pointing to his stomach. " You think that bug spray would work." I laughed and expected him to laugh as well. Instead he just rolled his eyes and kept looking at the door.

I don't quite understand why he was acting this way. After all this wasn't the first he been with out them. But I guess you can argue that last don't count as he was distracted with sneaking out. " What if they don't come home?" " They will." " But what if they don't. What if traffic is so bad that they can never back it and are stuck there forever?" " I sure that not going to happen." I put my hand on his shoulders. He stop looking at the door and instead started to focus on looking at the pictures on the wall. I was about to say something when suddenly Adam run upstairs.

I follow him to see that he was in Y/N room. He was sitting on her bed with two photos in his hands. I seat next to him on the bed. In one hand, he had a picture of him and Y/N. The other had a picture of him with what looked like to be his parents. I put a hand on to his back and pointed to the picture with the two unknown adults. " Those were my parents" he answered. " Is that so because you look very much like your father." " I used to get that a lot."  " Why did you come up here?" " It just feels safe and warm here. I don't know why but it doesn't." " Ok but why did you being your parents photo." " I was scared." " Scary about what." Adam turn silence. " Adam, your not think that Y/N and Jasper are going to abandon you right?" He unfortunately let out a small yes. I gave him a small hug as he cry on me. " Trust me Adam, they would never do that." " You sure." " Promise. And if they do. I make sure to give them a very serious talk."

A/N: Ok so you guys got to get to know Louis. * Sneezes*

Adam: * Unlock door and enters" Hey you feeling all right

A/N: Adam what are you doing here, you need to rest * try to push him out*

Adam: Hey I just trying to be kind and check in on you. After all, might I reminded you that you got sick IRL after you started to write this. * Sit on her bed* Pretty icon now that you think about it.

A/N: O please, your just saying that because your cold can easily end like that. * try's to snap fingers*  On the bight side, when future me in posting this chapter. I would no longer be sick. Thanks to me writing all my chapters in advance before posting.

Adam: Listen can I stay up here with you. * Gives the puppy eyes*

A/N: Fine, but only because in the next chapter you won't be there. But once the next chapter is over. You need to get back down there.

Adam: Ok

A/N Next chapter is going to be about the school day and will talk about Lily and Billy a bit. I can't tell you more as it will spoil the chapter a lot. I hope you enjoy and see you guys soon.
