Ch 46 Hospital visits

Day one, 9/6/2017
Me, Jasper and Dad were currently waiting in Adam hospital room ( they given him his only room). We had been waiting so long that it was soon turning night, and Jasper was even asleep. Finally the nurse came in with Adam. He had his leg, arm and head covered in a case. His body was cover in stitches with a huge scar on the left side of his face. Me and Dad were horrified. Jasper did to once I woke him up. " What in the world could of possibly cause this to him" said are Dad worried. Jasper and I both looked at each other in silent. We had both agreed on the phone to not tell Dad the hole truth.

" No one know yet how this happened sir. According to the new, the police are still looking for a reason. All we know is that he and many of the other kids were down under the school in some type of lab. Also that the principal and her daughter are now dead" said the nurse. The news only made things worse. I looked over at Adam again, he was sleeping so peacefully. Like there wasn't a care in the world. If things were under better circumstances, I would have him sleeping for as long as he wants. But considering that this isn't normal sleep. I wanted nothing more than to have him be awake.
Day two, 9/7/2017
It was Adam second day here. As He was still in his trap sleep spell. I sighed but did my best to stay positive. But after a few minutes of trying to stay positive, I fail and started to cry. With Dad having to comfort me.
Day three 9/8/2017
I decided was going to read a book out aloud to Adam during my third trip. I knew that I had to find to perfect book. So I started search the hole house for the right book. After hours for searching I able to find it. I was the first book of a old mystery series I used to read as a kid. I place my bag and headed to the hospital.

Once I got to Adam room, he was again still in his sleeping spell. So I sat down and started to read out loud. " Ch one..."
Day four, 9/9/2017
I unfortunately couldn't visit Adam today with Jasper; as I was called over to the police station for questioning about the event at the school. A men had white skin and black hair was in charge of the questioning showed me to a small questioning room. The walls were painted white with a brown flooring. The only furniture in the room was a table with two chairs. I seat in one of them with him choosing to stand.

" Y/N please tell me what happened during the day of the school incident?" " I started my day chatting with my son and his friends before school started. When the bell rung, I headed inside with the kids." " What were you guys chatting about?" " We were going over the plan to stop the principal testing under the school." " Wait what! So what those kids said was true. The principal was actually testing children under the school." " Yes sir." " And how long did you know of this." " For a few weeks now." " How did you find this about?" "During the lockdown we were in back in October. Adam told me about this." " Who is Adam?" " Adam is the birth name of my foster son. Who I started to foster after the lockdown. But most of kids just called him kid." " And you believe him?"

" Yes I did. Only because I got to see what the school is really like. Before he told me." " If you and some of the other kids knew about this. Then how come no one told the police." " The kids have all ready try telling there family, but fail send none of them believe them. And let be honest, if we did try the police would you guys have believed us." The police officer though about it for a min. " I guess you do make a point. But your free to go now." I grab my bag and left.

Day five, 9/10/2017
I enter in Adam room to found a small box lay beside his bed and a bag. I looked inside the bag first. The bag was full with get well soon cards made by the kids. Some where by his friends and others by the student. Feeling a bit guilty that I don't make one. I headed to the gift shop to make my own. One I was done I place in the bag with the others. I then check the small box. There a small note a attach to it.

Hey Kid is me Monty. I finish the job you ask me to do. I wish I could give it to you like how we agreed on. I hope you wake up soon. The other and I all made you cards, it was Mia and Stacy idea by the way. They even convince Buggs, Cindy, Ozzy, Felix and Jerome somehow. As for what happened to the lab kids ( that's there nickname everyone is giving them) I don't know. Maybe if you read your card from them you might know. They also given us a month off of school. I hope you get well soon Kindergarten boy. Oh in case your wondering where that from. Well everyone is calling you, Lily, Billy and Nugget. The kindergarten squad for you guys saving the school. It's even called that on the new.

P.S Everything at my shop is forever half off you guys.

I place the note back. I smile a bit as I looked at Kid. " I like Kindergarten boy, it's the perfect nickname for you" I gently said.
Day six 9/11/2017
I was going stay with Adam a bit longer then I normally do. I had a busy day tomorrow and wouldn't be able to visit right o way. I had already finished reading the book, and was listening to some music. As the song kept playing, I thought about the lullaby I gave to Kid. It was starting to get late so it seems like good timing. I started to sing the lullaby.

" As the sun started to set, and the moon begins to rise. The night animal come to play. Dancing under the stars, and moonlight. Soon my dear morning will come, for you to dance as well. It till then, rest your eyes. As you fall in to dreamland.

I hope for you only the sweetest of dream, like a cotton candy. Or as sweet smelling like a field of  flower in the month of May. But if things are dark and bleak. And your alone and are scared. I here be by your side, and guide you though the dark. So grab my hand dear. We push though it together. Together we can over come the dark, and get back to the light.

With the song now done. I kiss him on the cheek and headed out.
