          Dear Louis,

Eliza's gone. Not like went home, she's disappeared. No one, not even the staff knows where she is. They've asked Justin, a friend of mine and Eliza's if he's seen her and he just shakes his head sadly. When I found out, I immediately ran to the new patient’s room, and starting banging on his door. The staff grabbed me and opened the door, the guy sitting on his bed. He saw me and stood starting to walk towards me. I opened my mouth to tell at him but nothing came out.

He didn't try to attack me or anything. He just looked at me with a terrifying look in his eyes. Margaret, my favorite woman on the staff asked the others to take me back to my room and watch me. I pouted and wouldn't move so they carried me back.

I cried for a while. Silently of course. I sat down at a desk where I had painted and Margaret had brought me. There were papers strewn across the desk. A story Eliza had been writing. I glance over it, surprised at how well it was written. Eliza hasn't let me read it all yet, just the first chapter. If they don't find her by Tuesday, I'm going to finish writing the story for her. There’s only a few more chapters left…

Eliza asked me to paint a picture of a young blonde girl, atop a white dappled stallion. She said it’s the main character of her story. She's asked me to think of a title once it's finished. I hope she can finish it. It seems so unfair that I can't help find her. She's my best friend right now. I need her here. I don't know what I'll do if I never see her again...

There's screaming in the halls... I’ll write more tomorrow.

        Always, Only, Forever Yours,

                                  Mai <3
