i was an absolute idiot, really.

i was quite literally running from sage

"brynn?"

i had paused outside of the library

not expecting sage to follow me out.

"are you running away from me?" she spoke again, when i didn't answer
"i'm, late to class?" i answered, definitely not staring at her lips
"lunch just started."

"maybe my watch is broken, and i didn't know the time"
"you don't have a watch brynn." sage deadpanned
"i did just say it was broken."

sage had that annoyed look on her face, and not kissing her, was hard.
"what are you doing brynn?"
her necklace was crooked, and i wanted to fix it

were necks supposed to be attractive?

did the guy she was talking to think sage was attractive?

even though she was, i didn't want to know the answer of that

"who were you talking to?"

what if sage found the guy attractive?
"what?"

"in the library."

"he's a friend, and he moved here recently. i was going to show him around."
"aren't there people for that?"

"brynn, i never thought i'd see you jealous."
i was not jealous, not at all

i didn't care if sage talked to him, or even if she liked him

"i'm not jealous, why would i be jealous?"
she stepped closer, close enough that i could kiss her

"i don't mind really, i find it hot even."
