i walked alongside sage to the food court

"let's get milkshakes?" sage asked, as we got there

"sure, okay."

"can you find us a seat? i'll order."
"that's very chivalrous of you."

she rolled her eyes and sometimes i forgot how attractive she could be

actually, i did think of her quite a lot, so i didn't really forget

"right, and you want strawberry?"

how did she know my milkshake order?

instead of questioning her, i merely nodded and went towards a table

my shoulder brushing sages as i walked past her

oh god, it was weird that i wanted to do that again.

i choose a table near the entrance of the food court

i got a text, immediately after sitting down

'where are you?' it was one of the friends i'd gone to the theater with

'getting food, movie was boring.' i replied

'with sage?'

'she was there.'

'i thought you didn't like her?' her reply came immediately

as i was about to respond, a milkshake slid in front of me

"how much was it?"

she placed her own milkshake in front of her, and a bowl of fries in the middle

"i already paid." she sat down, her knees almost touching mine under the table
"i can pay you back."
i was about to take my wallet out, when sage grabbed my arm

"it's fine, you don't need to pay me back."

i opened my mouth to argue, and sage cut me off

"if you really want to pay me back, i'd appreciate that kiss."
