girlxgirl

the library was empty, other then a few lingering students

i choose a table in a corner, and sage raised an eyebrow

"what?" i asked, seeing the look on her face

"you seem keen to be alone with me."

"you seemed keen to tutor me."

"what can i say? i'm a nice person."
"you are not a nice person." i deadpanned

"you didn't deny you wanted to be alone with me."

"because it's so obviously dumb, we need quiet to work."

she smirked at me knowingly, and i hated it.

there was nothing to know

at all.

she was just a annoying reluctant acquaintance

that i hated.

i opened up my math textbook, and i didn't understand the first question.

"need some help?" sage asked

"no, i'm perfectly fine."

"okay then."

i went back to the problem, and eventually gave up

i wasn't dumb, but math wasn't exactly my strong point

i huffed in frustration, and sage looked up, from her book

"i'm guessing you need the help i offered minutes ago?"

"i have the same answer, i offered minutes ago."

"you seem stuck though." she observed uselessly

"i'm not stuck."
"brynn, just admit you've been on the same question for ten minutes."

i didn't respond, and i heard sage shuffle her things

she slid next to me, and picked up my pencil

sage was not attractive, but how did she do that so flawlessly?

i really hate you, i think?Where stories live. Discover now
