when i entered the library, for tutoring, sage was at our usual table.

"you're early?" i teased, noting how sages lips were still swollen, from our kiss

"i am, and you're late." the amusement clear in her voice

though, all i could think about was our kiss from earlier

and by the way she glanced at me, i think sage felt the same

"i'm a minute late." i sat down across from her, and got my textbook

i didn't have much to do, other then a few questions i didn't finish in class

but clearly, sage wasn't going to be a help, as she was already on her phone

"is this how all of our sessions are going to be?" i questioned
"depends on what type of sessions you're talking about."
my cheeks grew red, and i looked away from her gaze

"those sessions must be very fun then."

"i haven't done any yet, but they will be."

instead of answering, i stared down at my textbook

"brynn, can i ask you something?"

i looked back at sage, and she looked slightly nervous?
"okay."
"can i have your number?"
"my number?" i repeated
"that is what i asked, yes."
"why?"

"we did just kiss a few hours ago, right? or was i just dreaming?"

"does that have anything to do with wanting my number?"
"usually, when two people kiss, they generally like each other."

"are you trying to tell me something?"
"depends on if you feel the same."

"maybe i do." i murmured

"then, maybe i do as well." and the grin on her face was everything.
