Rui's POV:
I ran up too Tsukasa in the halls. He tried to bolt away from me. "Tsukasa! Waaait!" I cry for him to stop and grab his wrist. "No! I'm not dealing with one of your quote "compliments" again!" He rips his wrist fron my grasp and walks away. "Okay... Damn..." I become disappointed. Does he really not like them that much?
"Tsukasa?" I ask when I arive in class. He ignored me. I just sat down and listened.
He's been ignoring me the whole day. "Tsukasa!"
"Tsukasa-Kun?"
"Tsukasaaaaaaaaaaa!"
"Kasa, listen!"
"Tenma!" It was saying his last name that made him finally listen. "T-Tenma..." He whispered. "Isn't that your family's last name?" I say. He begins crying a bit. "Tsukasa!? Are you crying!?" He runs away onto the school rooftop. "Tsukasa!" I cry out. I find him on the roof crying into his knees.
(Rui, Tsukasa)
"Tsukasa?"
"Go away!"
"Tsukasa, why are you crying?"
"I don't want to be called Tenma."
"Why? Is something wrong with it?"
"..."
"?"
"My parents are getting divorced. My mom is taking Saki but my dad and I want her to stay and now they have to go to court over our custody. My mom is keeping the name Tenma. My dad is going back to Minamoto."
"So your name will stay as Tsukasa Tenma?"
"No. I am changing it to Tsukasa Minamoto. I want nothing to do with my mother."
"Tsukasa. I will always be here for you. I'm sorry for getting you upset and telling you hurtful comments. I just didn't know how-
Nevermind."
"Don't hide stuff from me! Tell me!"
"Ever since I first saw you here at school in the halls, I had a massive crush on you. And I still do."
"What?..."
"I'm sorry..."
"No! Don't leave!"
"Huh?"

"Really?"
"Of course! You're really handsome, smart, funny, you always know what to say, you have a deep heart throbbing voice an- I've said to much..."
"I didn't know you thought so highly of me, Tsukasa."

His voice starts getting shakey and soft and low.
"You sound nervous."
"I am..."
"Well don't be! We both like each other."
"So. What does this mean?"
I give hima big bear hug and then kiss him on the lips.
"Rui...!"
"I love you."
I got up and walked away to the stairs. I then felt a tug on my shirt.
"The hug wasn't long enough..."
I giggled and hugged him again. This time tighter. I always wanted to see Tsukasa happy. And now I could.
