Tsukasa's POV:

7/18/1824

Dear Diary,

I'm Tsukasa Tenma. I'm in the Royal family. It's overall a nice life but... My family doesn't want me to marry a man. They always say "I can't wait to see your wife!" And "What the girls name?" Cause I told them I was dating a girl. But in reality, I was dating a man. Rui Kamashiro. There's no such thing as a man liking a man. It's quite sad, but I'm happy I found Rui. He always knows how to treat me right.

~3rd person Flashback~

"Rui, stop!" Tsukasa laughs. Rui ignores him and keeps kissing him. Whether it was on the cheek or neck he kept kissing. "R-Rui! Don't go there!" Rui started kissing Tsukasa's shoulder. "So, you're sensitive there? Aren't you?" Rui giggles. "N-No! I'm fine!" Tsukasa looks away.

Sure, he can be a tease. But I love him for that. He great at pretending, too. He has met my parents before. They liked him. We had to pretend we were just friends, though. I had to hold back and hugs and extange for handshakes, Kisses became head nods, and calling him "Babe" or "Rui" Became "Kamashiro-Kun." I was upset but I knew I had to do it to maintain my royal status. And once he left, I ran out to give him a hug and kiss.

"Oniichan! It's time for dinner!" I look behind me to see Saki smiling. "Be there in a second." I say back. She closes the door. "Only if they knew..." I got up and started towards the kitchen. I saw my family sitting down. "Tsukasa, darling. Sit." My mother says. I follow and start eating. "When do you think you want to get married to you're girlfriend?" She asks. "I don't have a girlfriend." I blurt out. My entire family is in shock. "I mean..." I was intrupted by my father. "No girlfriend? I thought you said you were in love with a girl named Ellie Grayson? Blonde hair, green eyes, freckles." My father is as confused as ever. "She doesn't exist, Father... I'm in love with a man. Who I wish to marry..." I say disappointed in myself. My mother's gasps and my father slams his hand on the table. "You will not marry a man!" He yells. "Why!? What's so wrong with marrying a man!?" I yell back. "It's-" My father goes silent. "There isn't anything wrong with it... But people don't like it." He doesn't look angry anymore. "I don't have to be the prince! I just want to marry Rui!" I storm off to my room and lock my door.

"I just want Rui..." I say to myself. I grab my rope and open the window. "I'll leave the castle for a while. They won't notice." I slide down the rope and run towards the gates. "I'm sorry. But I need to get Rui!" I yell as I leave. I continue to the village while I was confronted by alot of people. "Prince Tsukasa! Marry my daughters!"
"It's the prince!"
I ignored all of them and kept running until I reached Rui's home. I knocked on the door and Rui answered. "Rui! I found you!" I was panting so much I could barely get my sentence out. "What happened? Why is there so many people-"
(Tsukasa, Rui)

"It doesn't matter! I need you."

"Wh-"

I hold his hand and get on one knee.

"Huh..."

"Rui Kamashiro. I don't care what people say about us. I don't care if I'm no longer a prince or if I will never become king. I want to marry you!"

"I want to marry you too."

I jump into his arm and he catches me and pulls my legs up, holding me.

"Will you be my king?"

"Of course."

Everyone was applauding.
"That was unexpected." I hear. But it doesn't matter. I love Rui with all my heart and will do anything for him.

~10 year later~

Rui's POV:

"Father! Wake up!" I look to see my daughter, Kara, and my husband, Tsukasa, smiling at me. "Good morning." I say picking Kara up in my arms. "Rui your hair is so long now." Tsukasa starts playing with my hair. "Shoukd we go?" I pull my hair back into a ponytail and get up. I got into my clothes and walked into the great hall. "Good morning, Prince Rui." Saki says. She is visiting us from her kingdom with her husband. "Good morning, Saki." I sit down next to Tsukasa. "Remeber when you ran to my house just to engage me?" I ask. He blushes and looks away. "That was embarrassing..." He lays his head on my shoulder. "I love you, my king."
