The atmosphere is so strange at night. Being this far from my mom and dad is weird. Saki is sharing a bunk with me but camp sucks. No one is nice, I get left out, and I'm bad at everything.
I start walking into the woods to clear my head. I hear soft crying behind a tree and go to see what's going on. "Huh?" I look behind the tree to see a boy who seems my age crying into his knees. I sat down next to him and tapped his shoulder. "Hey, why are you crying?" I ask. The boy looks up at me. Am I blushing!? He has a perfect face! I was a bit startled but I tilted my head to the side. "What's wrong?"

"No, tell me. There is obviously something wrong."
"Well... I am having a horrible time at camp."
"So am I. Can't make any friends."
