Tuesday
Rui's POV:
The school dance is coming up and I wanted to ask Tsukasa. I've liked him for so long and this might be my chance. I have a note and a flower in my hand. I see Tsukasa and try running over to him. But it was too late... A girl with pink hair and stickers all over her uniform runs up to him. "T-Tsukasa-Kun!"
(Tsukasa, Emu, Rui)
"What's wrong Emu-Chan?"
"Nothing... but... I wanted to ask you something."
"Yeah. What is it?"
"No. She..."
"Umm... Well... Do you want to go to the dance with me!?"
She gives him a rose and a small box of chocolates. Tsukasa blushes a bit. She's on the verge of crying.
"Emu... I would like that."
"R-Really!?"
"Yeah. So Friday."
"Yeah! Friday!"
"No... Why?... Cupid why must you be so cruel?"
I start crying a bit. Nene spots me and gives me a hug.
"I'm guessing Tsukasa said no?"
"Someone asked him out and I wasn't able to get to him."
"Oh no... Don't worry Rui. There's plenty more fish in the sea. Or who knows. Maybe something will happen and you and Tsukasa go on a date? There's always a possibility!"
"Thanks Nene..."
Wednesday
I sit down next to Tsukasa in class. He waves but I ignore him. I wonder what he's thinking now.
Tsukasa's quick POV:
Why is Rui acting that way? He usually makes a joke or compliments me but not today...
I try to eat lunch with him but he doesn't talk to me.
I decide to confront him directly. I stood right in front of him. We have prolonged eye contact for a while. But... He... He pushed me into the locker and stormed off. "Ngh!" I grunted a bit cause I had been slammed to the wall. He stopped walking and looked back at me. "Tsukasa..." He says. I looked over to him blushing. He just ran away. I realized what happened.
"Me+drooling+a little moan+Rui+slammed against wall= BAD SITUATION
Rui's POV:
WHAT HAVE I DONE TO MYSELF!? NO NO NO! I CAN'T LET HIM SEE ME!
I run to my car and start driving home. I get several calls and texts from Tsukasa. I don't answer any of them. I listen to a few voice-mails though.
"Rui! Answer my calls!" One said.
"Ruiiiiiiiiii!"
"Rui-Kun! Just answer me!"
It made me feel bad. But wasn't this the best option?...
Thursday
Tsukasa:
Rui didn't show up to school. I was surprised since he never misses a day.
Friday
Rui's POV:
I arrive to the dance with Nene. We aren't there on a date though... We are there just as friends. Nene's hair looks amazing though. He hair is tossed up in a beautiful bun with flowers in her hair. Quite stunning.
