Saving Wednesday

Clara lived for those Wednesdays where she was saved by the Doctor by the abusive Rick.

Before they got married, everything between them was perfect- but after they made the eternal vows, something between them broke. Now Clara was forever plagued by the man she once loved who now cut and and hit her so often.

So she didn't trust him and waited for the Doctor to take hermind off the burning pain, blaming her cuts and bruises on a dog Rick had adopted at the beginning of their marriage.

Clara entered the Tardis, hoping her makeup covered her terrible fresh cut on her cheek. "Hi."

The Doctor hugged her, and she winced. "Sorry. Clara, you really must get rid of that dog."

*next Wednesday*

This time the Doctor couldn't save her. Not after this.

Clara walks down te darkened alley, trying to collect her thoughts when a slurred voice calls her.

She turns to see Rick sauntering toward her with some drunk friends. "Hey babe." He pushes her to the ground unbuttoning her blouse to reveal her bra.

"Rick... What?...."

"C'mon boys!" and they all rushs to Clara's fully exposed body, and she fights them away futilely.

She can't stop crying as they touch her, kiss her, pull off their own clothes... Clara whimpers.

The Tardis appeared in her backyard and she slipped out out of the house gulping down sobs.

The doctor met her inside and immediately noticed the tears streaming down her cheeks. "What happened??!?!"

Through sobs, she explained. "And they pulled off their clothes..." she collapsed unable to continue.

The Doctor storned out of the Tardis and confronted Rick. "How. Dare. You!" he growled, knocking him unconscious before returning to his precious Clara.

"Cone away with me Clara," he whispered, her head nestled in his chest.

She looked Ito his green eyes. "Okay."

And they closed the gap between their lips.

I know it's total rubbish I promise next chapter will be better. Ugh. I'm sorry.
