We werea couple  for almost one year now already, but my love for Nathan grew with every minute we spent together, if that was even possible.

"Can I take off the blindfold now?" I asked, sitting in Nathan's truck, wondering where he was driving. "No. I already told you that I have a surprise. And it wouldn't be much of a surprise anymore if you'd see where we're going. But don't worry, we're almost there. Unless you keep complaining, cause then I'll drive an extra round for you." I sighed and heard Nathan chuckle. "Patience still isn't something you're good at, right?" "Watch your mouth, Prescott." I said, knowing that he hated it when somebody said that. I wish I could've seen his face in that moment changing from amused to showing some kind of annoyance.

"Were here." Nathan said after a few more minutes of driving and removed the blindfold and I saw that we were on the beach. He grabbed my hand as we got out of the car and dragged me to the exact spot were our first kiss was, the bench we sat on when it happened. We came here sometimes, but it was still something special every time.

"Let's get out of here. Just the two of us. Forever." Nathan said out of nowhere. "Wh... what?" I asked confused, it really surprised me. "I love you more than everything. I love waking up next to you, seeing you sleep in my arms. You always listened to my problems and never judged or laughed, you just comforted me. You just gave me advice and help and you always managed to stay calm when I would freak again. So many times, you defended me even when I was completely wrong and just talked shit. I love the way you make me feel bad when I did something stupid and I love the feeling of cuddling with you after we argued. I fucking love what we have. I know I might destroy everything we have now, but..." Nathan took my hand and kneeled down in front of me. I couldn't believe it when he pulled out a ring. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

Oh my god. Nathan really asked me if I wanted to marry him. "Yes, of course, Nathan. I love you." I said excitedly and noticed that Nathan relaxed when he heard my answer. He must've been really nervous, which was cute. "Oh thank god." He said, probably in relief, and stood up, putting the ring on my finger. "You don't know how happy you make me." He whispered as he looked deep into my eyes, the sun slowly setting behind him. He just knew how to make moments perfect.

"Let's get out of here. For real." Nathan said. I saw that he was completely serious. "Where?" I asked him, not rejecting his idea, I was just curious if he already had a plan. "Anywhere but here. I'm done with this place." Nathan responded. So he didn't have a full plan. "When?" "As soon as possible. I wanna get out of here with you." I actually didn't think Arcadia was that bad, but if Nathan wanted to leave, I wanted that too. "Let's do it.",I said and Nathan looked truly happy about my words.

He put his lips on mine and this was one of the greatest kisses in my life. He wrapped his arms around my waist tightly to pull me closer, my arms were placed on his shoulder and I felt his warmth all over my own body.

We walked around on the beach, talking about where we wanted to go. "My parents will probably freak out." Nathan told me. "My father always planned that I'd take over the companies someday." "It's your life. We don't have to tell them. Not yet anyways." "And where do you wanna go until we find a nice place?" Nathan asked. "We could stay here until we find something good. And we'll start searching tomorrow." I suggested and Nathan nodded. "That's probably the best idea." "My ideas are always the best." I chuckled and Nathan rolled his eyes. "I love you so much." "I love you too, Nathan." "Now... Let's celebrate. But without the boring celebrating part. Let's go straight into my room." Nathan suggested. I was the happiest girl on earth.
