" no I can't do it" - Yelled Payal.

" you have to do it otherwise we can't escape from his clutches- said Payal's father.

Finally Payal's father convinced her in working out his plan.

Burton is getting ready for his duty, but he is indulged in thoughts of his wedding with Payal.

" never imagined I will be married to an Indian girl"- Burton thought himself wearing his gloves.

Soon a servant came and informed him someone came to meet him.

Burton walked to his corridor and peeped to see who came to meet him at this early hours.

He find a girl in pink lehenga waiting for him and her face is covered.
Burton understood who it is and immediately went to meet her.

Hearing foot steps of Burton made Payal heart pace to increase with fear.

Burton came and glanced her from head to toe.

" come in my lady" - said Burton in English.

Payal didn't understand what he said and stood like a statue.
Burton stepped towards her and Payal can see him coming towards her through the veil.

He forwarded his hand to hold her hand but Payal instantly stepped back.

Burton twitched his brows in confusion.

The servants around is watching everything and discussing, which irked Burton.

He turned to them and yelled " do you all want whip slashing, if no leave us alone"

Out of fear everyone left only Burton and Payal are there.

" let's get inside and talk" said Burton in language which Payal can understand.

Burton showed way to her she followed him praying inside.

Scene shifts:

Payal's father is waiting for the man who wants to buy his farm.

Inside the feeling of pushing his daughter into lion's den is eating him.
But he have no choice to keep Burton away for a while.

Soon the man came and finalized the farm and gave few coins as advance to Payal's father.

Scene shifts:

Burton asked Payal to sit but she didn't budged and opened her mouth to talk.
But he walked to her and made her sit on the sofa holding her by her shoulders.
Payal shuddered by his touch.

" I...I...don't want to marry you" - said Payal.

No reply came from Burton, Payal continued to talk.

" you and me are both different persons.
Our culture, country,religion, language and traditions are farther than different.
I can't marry you"

Hearing her words Burton stood up and came near to her face.

Payal is feeling suffocated which she never felt before under her veil.
Burton pulled her veil revealing her face.
For his sudden actions Payal became frightened and closed her eyes.

He came near her face and his breathe is fanning her face.
Payal breathe struck.

He said " I won't bother about our couturies, traditions and whatever you said,
I want you just you,I love you and there is no barriers for love ."

He moved away and she sighed in relief and got up to leave.

" think of any other reasons to deny our wedding, but no one can stop me from making you mine"  said Burton.

Payal stopped in her tracks as he clutched her duppata.
She slowly turned only to find her duppata struck on a nail and Burton standing away from her.

Payal is trying to release her duppata but she is not able to concentrate on her task as Burton's sharp gaze making her uncomfortable.

He came and released her duppata and held her hands and said
" love can make things easier, but no one tries to understand it"

Payal didn't looked at him and tried to release her hands.
He leaned to kiss her on cheek but a servant intervened him, Payal got a chance to escape,
She covered her face with veil and ran from there asap.

" wait" said Burton looking at Payal.

But she already left him, he smiled himself.

Payal kept running to her home but her eyes are filled with tears recalling things just happened before.

She understood one thing that Burton is not going to leave her that easily.

As soon as she reached home, her father gave a good news to her about the farm being sold soon.

" I hope we find a prospective groom to you soon" - said Payal's father.

" we are risking our lives"- said Payal's mother.

" she is our daughter and we have to save her"- Payal's father.

" it's all because of me, you all are suffering.
I am so sorry, it's my fault to raise voice against that Burton" thought Payal herself controlling her tears.

Scene shifts:

Payal lit lamps as the sun slowly getting down and it's becoming dark.

But what Payal doesn't know is her duppata catched fire at the hem without her notice.

Here, Burton came to know about Payal's father selling their farm.
So, he ordered his soliders to bring the man who gave advance for the farm.
