Payal and Veer heard sound and she peeped out, to find Burton coming down and got panicked.
" he is here, he will kill you please go, just leave for God sake leave me for my fate and escape from this back door,I beg you" she said with tear eyed and joining her hands, Veer nodded his head in no.

" Guards!" Burton shouted.
Hearing him her heartbeat got double with fear " please go, he is coming " she warned Veer.

Then suddenly hoot sound is heard and Veer got alerted hearing it.
He understand it is a signal for him from his friend.
" We need to go" he said taking his dagger out.
" if you don't leave at once, I will die banging my head on this wall" she warned him.
He is taken aback by her words and eyed her with dismay.
" why are you doing this to yourself, just come with me" He tried to say but she walked out of kitchen not hearing to him hiding her tears and Veer is about to step out but stopped seeing Burton talking with Guards.

Another hoot is heard Veer eyes filled with hot tears, he sighed deeply and looked at retiring figure of Payal and covered his face with cloth and walked out of back door thinking " help her God"

Burton Is yelling at the guards "you people are useless, can't do duty properly, are you all sleeping and dreaming, you illiterate ugly people!"

Payal is relived confirming that Veer left, but inside she is very hurt for not hearing to Veer and escaping taking his help.
She heard Burton scolding Guards, she doesn't understand why he is scolding them.
" i should divert him until Veer cross haveli premises" she thought.
She covered her face with veil and walked to him and cleared her throat to gain his attention.

Burton heard her and turned towards her, he is eased to find her there and said to guards "dismiss".
Guards left, he eyed her from head to toe and asked sternly
" where are you missing?"
She gulped down in fear hearing his tone.
" I said where are you!" He said and stepped towards her and removed her veil at once.
She jolted by his act and tears formed in her eyes out of fear.
" answer me" He yelled shooking her by shoulders.
" are you trying to escape again!" he yelled at her grabbing her arm, making her yelp in pain.

Scene shifts:

Veer walked to his friend and said checking the rope " need to Cross this haveli quickly", " But where is she?" His friend asked.
Veer stopped and said " she left behind to foil Burton's plans, she didn't even listened to me.
She is so stubborn how can she leave an opportunity to save her life"
His friend consoled him and they both climbed down the wall that is in shadows and crossed haveli premises.

But Veer stopped and looked back at haveli " I don't know whether I can see you again or not, forgive me for not fulfilling my promise Payal,
I will never forget you" he thought.
His friend nudged him, he came out of his thoughts and both ran towards jungle hiding from Burton's night guards on streets.

Burton Is eyeing at her seriously, she is thinking to build up an excuse.
" I said..." he is about to say but stopped hearing her words " I was at balcony watching rain"
He looked at her with suspicion.
" I was awake by thundering sounds and find it raining, so felt to watch rain for a while, but came down hearing your shouts" she said lowering her head.

Burton recalled how he not checked the balcony.
He left her arm and yelled again
" are you saying truth?" she didn't replied but he heard her slow sobs and felt bad, he is about to talk with her but she ran from there sobbing.

" oh! what I did! I hurt her again, why I yelled at her" he thought going behind her.
She reached their room and sat on bed sobbing at her fate.
" why, what sin I have committed to get this kind of life?
I lost my everyone and got trapped with a cruel person, who just need my body not my soul" she thought and kept crying.

He came there and find her crying, he placed his hand on her shoulder, she jerked in shock and stood up.
" I'm sorry my lady, I was scared thinking that you left me again.
In that fear I didn't realized what I was doing, I'm not intended to do so but it happened without my conscience" he said, but She is not understanding his language properly.
By staying with him from few months she can understand a very little bit of his language by his facial expressions and actions but not completely.

His eyes fell on her arm and find his finger imprints there.
He touched her skin, she Gasped in pain.
" I'm sorry" he said, she nodded her head and turned back.

" I really hurt her badly, I should change her mood" he thought held her wrist, she looked at him thinking " now what!"
He made her walk towards the balcony.
" Let's enjoy the rain together" he said showing his hand towards rain, trying to make her understand his words.

She turned her face at rain and kept looking like that.
While her inner sense is taunting her " you're really a fool, who loose a chance to escape from this ruthless man, you're completely insane, by living with him you gone mad like him"

Burton slowly wrapped his arm around her shoulder making her thoughts to halt.
He touched his head with her and said " my lady, I can't handle my anger, I hope you understand it and act according to it" he said which she didn't understood.
He understand that by her silence, so he held her hand and walked into rain along with her.

He removed her veil, she is feeling cold, so he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her towards him.
