We had just finished our waffles and because I'm my father's daughter,  I knew we'd have some eggos at home. After all, it was all me and my dad ate after my mother left us.

"Sorry, they're not quite the same as the ones you made for us." I smiled.

"You can never go wrong with frozen waffles and whipped cream." Lars reassured.

I went to clear the table, but Lars stopped me before I could.

"How are you feeling?" He asked seriously.

"I'm fine." I waved him off.

"Elza." He grumbled, "I can see that you're not, and after last night." He stared deeply in my eyes.

"Look, I was just slightly overwhelmed. Don't worry, it won't happen again."

"No, Elza, that's not what I mea-"

I cut him off, "come on. I owe you a tour."

I turned away from him at the table, deciding to worry about the mess later.

I heard him grunt from behind me and the heavy footsteps that followed.

"Well you've seen my bedroom, the kitchen and the bathroom which is basically everything." I chuckled.

I made my way out to the garden. Whilst our house my lack in size the garden makes up for it.

"It's my dad's prized possession." I looked up to Lars to see his reaction to the extravagant plants and rows of trees.

"Wow" he said in awe.

"Before I spent all my time in my bedroom, this is where I'd spend it." I explained.

He looked out at the flowers with a small smile on his face.

"Come on. This isn't even the best bit."

I lead him further down towards the river that cuts through our garden.

"Isn't it amazing?" I said whilst running my hands through the water.

"It's beautiful." He looked at me.

I pointed to the willow tree adjacent to us, "I begged my dad to build a swing hidden away by it's long branches."

I went and sat on the swing, "he made it big enough for both of us to swing together." I patted the space next to me, inviting him to join.

He squeezed on and started swinging us over the river. I swear I'd never felt happier than right now, under Lars' arm swinging on my childhood swing.

I let out happy laughs and chuckles and I looked up to see Lars' dazzling smile he doesn't wear often. It made the butterflies in my stomach erupt, but they are rarely dorment these days.

And In This Moment I Swear , We Are Infinite.

My mind flashed to that moment in Perks of Being a Wallflower.

I wondered if this is how Charlie felt in that moment.

I never thought I'd be lucky enough to experience and relate to those words. But right now I swear I did.

It was only when it started to rain did we rush inside, breaking the spell of euphoria we were under.

"We can warm up by the fire in the living room, the last place I have to show you to conclude the tour."

He chuckled wiping some water from his eyes before placing his large hand on my back, "lead the way."
