A week had passed since the whole being drugged incident. It's safe to say the others were furious when they heard what happened, Knox included even though he was absent that night for unknown reasons. It was difficult to hold them all back from hunting Scott down and killing him. But I made a full recovery and I'm trying to put that night behind me like everything else with Scott.

Besides my less than fun news I had to break to the group, my week went by smoothly, focusing solely on my classes. I didn't see Lars that much either (only in our shared class) which was disappointing but it meant there were no distractions around. He won his fight and I didn't try to sneak in like I thought I would. I wanted to stay clear of that place what with Scott lurking around.

I finally got around to calling my dad and he said he was feeling fine and that he was taking his medication which eased some of the stress from my mind.

My teacher had asked me to stay back after class for something. So now I'm stood at her desk waiting for her to come back.

I never expected her to come back with what she did.

"Elza, I need you to tutor Kyle." Miss Lamport said.

I went to protest but she cut me off, "You are the best in my class and I know you have what it takes to help Mr Becker get back on track." She further explained.

I had trouble saying no to people, especially if they needed help with something and especially if they were teachers.

"Of course I'll help." I smiled at her.

I didn't dare look Kyle's way, not wanting to see his smug smile.

"I knew I could count on you Elza. Right well I'll let you two get on and Kyle I expect to see improvements.." She said, signalling for use to leave.

I reluctantly followed Kyle out the door, where he was waiting for me with his hands in his pockets.

"Looks like you will be spending time with me after all. I wonder what your pet monster will think about this." He taunted.

"Don't call him that and don't mention anything about this to him, it's best he doesn't know." I gritted my teeth.

"Oh keeping secrets from your lover, is it? That doesn't make for a stable relationship." He provoked.

I ignored him and headed towards the library, wanting to get this over with.

I found a table and got out my planner to organise when we were going to do this.

I didn't look at him when he sat down.

"We should do this once a week for an hour." I decided, not caring for his input. "So when are you free?"

"Whenever." He shrugged his shoulders, clearly not interested.

I scoffed, annoyed at his disinterest.

"Look, we're here because of you, so you better start putting in effort." I said unimpressed. "So when are we doing this?" I asked again.

"I'm free Tuesday afternoons." He grumbled.

I looked over my schedule, "Perfect, so am I. We'll meet here every Tuesday at 2 for an hour." I said with no room for argument.

He sat there studying my face, "you know, you'd be pretty if you weren't such a bitch."

I was slightly taken aback, no ones ever called me that before. It made me realise that I've never acted this way towards anyone. I think hanging around the group had made me gain some confidence and made me understand I don't need to let people walk all over me. So Scott calling me that made me feel quite proud.
