10. Loving The Date

*short chapter, sorry*

Walking to my classes on Monday, I was still high on life from my day at Lars's house last Thursday. Unfortunately though, I hadn't seen him since that day. I knew he had another fight that night, but he didn't say anything to me and neither did the others so I didn't go. To be fair, the girls didn't go as they were busy.

After my classes were finished, I went to the library and found that same table from last time unoccupied, so I sat down and got on with my work. I was an hour in, when I felt my phone begin to vibrate.

Mr Darcy: Hey! Where are you?
Me: In the library
Mr Darcy: Cool. Im Omw! Me: Im sat at the table where we met

Barely five minutes passed before Fitzwilliam is sat at my table.

"Hi Elza." He greeted.

"Hi Fitzwilliam." I greet back, interlocking my hands together on top of the table.

He laughed. I seriously don't know what at. I'll admit I found it a bit strange, especially because his laugh sounded sort of forced.

"How can I help you?" I said, hoping to end his awkward laughter.

He suddenly turned serious, "I was wondering if you are free tonight?" He had a hopeful look on his face.

"I'm pretty sure I am. Why?"

"Would you go on a date with me tonight?" He practically begged.

"Sure" I reluctantly agreed. Not too sure how I feel about going out with him but I couldn't say no, not with that look on his face.

"Awesome! Meet at the bowling alley for 7," he said excitedly.

I nodded.

He might as well have skipped out the library after I had given him my answer.

I tried not to think about the upcoming date, because I know as soon as I do I'll be anxious. I've never been on a date before and I don't think I see Fitzwilliam that way. Maybe this date will change my mind, he's nice enough.

After finishing up on my work, I left the library and walked to the usual table under the tree.

"Omg Elza!" Harley and Anna ran up to me.

"We haven't seen you in so long!" Anna drawled out.

"Quit being so dramatic. It's only been a few days." I laughed.

I sit down at the table.

"Hi Alexa, hi Genesis." Alexa waved.

"Hey girly." Genesis greeted back.

"Where are the guys?" I looked around.

"I'm not sure actually" Anna answered. "They said something about." She stopped," I didn't have a clue what they were on about."

"They'll be back soon" Harley clarified.

"So what happened at Lars's house last Thursday?" Anna asked excitedly.

"What do you mean? We just worked on our essay."

"Oh come on! You were at that hunks house and you didn't jump him! I don't believe it." Anna said perplexed.

"Anna you know they're both little virgins. That's not what they're into." Harley slapped her.

Lars was a virgin? That makes me feel better about myself, because I was convinced I was the only one.

"I know what your thinking, and yes Lars is a virgin. He's never entertained a single girl before since he doesn't talk to anyone. Well besides you." Anna explained.

I tried not to blush in front of them but it was hard when I was feeling giddy. However that feeling went away, when I thought of my date tonight.

"I actually I did have something to tell you guys. I have a date tonight."

"Why are you not more excited? You're going on a date with Lars!" Harley cheered.

"Urm it's actually not with Lars" I chewed on my lip. "It's with Fitzwilliam."

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Anna shrieked.

"You better not be going." Harley deadpanned.

"Hey leave her alone, she might want too." Alexa chastised.

"Well do you?" Anna looked at me, expectantly.

"I'm not sure. I'm hoping this date will help me decide."

"All I can say is you'd know if you liked him." Harley claimed.

Anna, Alexa and Genesis nodded in agreement.

"Even though I'm not happy about this date, you should come over to ours and we'll help you get ready." Anna offered.

"I'd love that, thank you."

We talked for a bit longer until the boys arrived. Lars came and sat next to me, very closely so that his thigh was against mine.

I turned to him, "How was your fight?" I said snarkily.

"You are never allowed to go back there again." He stated, not answering my question.

"You big brute!" I cried "I can go wherever I want!"

"No you can't."

"I hate you." I said.

"Sure you do" Lars said sarcastically.

"I can't believe you think that you can control me." I dryly chuckled.

"Watch me, sunshine." He whispered in my ear.

"You are such a, such a cyclops!" I stormed off.

I can't believe he'd seriously think that he has any say over what I do!

You know what I'm going to enjoy my date tonight and not think of him once.

It was now 6:15 and I had 45 minutes till my date.

I was currently sat on the girls' purple couch, getting my makeup done by Anna. I has been here for majority of the afternoon, they had followed me after I stormed off and took me back to there's.

Alexa and Genesis left about an hour ago as they had their own date to get to.

"Wow you look hot as fuck." Harley wolf whistled.

I laughed, brushing her off.

"This will teach Lars." Anna said mischievously.

"What?" I asked.

Neither of them answered me.

"You are going to go and you are going to enjoy yourself." Anna reassured, repeating my earlier thoughts but out loud.

"And don't worry about Lars, he'll come around." Harley added.

"Got get 'em tiger!" They walked me towards the door.

"Keep your phones near you incase I need an escape route." I said, deadly serious.

"Oh you don't have to worry about that." They both looked at me.

I was about to ask them what that meant but they were already shoving me out the door.
