MK clasped his hands together, "Okay, so Red, Mei, and I will go to the village and look around. If we find The Blacksmith, we'll mark their location!" Pigsy nodded, "Sounds good. Thing is, you need to be at the right place at the right time. That could take around a week." Mei nodded, "Yeah, but it's kinda the only way to stop the weapons from hurting civilians someday."

Wukong glared at the map of the Demon Market, "And remember, don't initiate fights." Macaque peaked at them over the couch and hummed, "And if you do you better win!" Everyone facepalmed, Macaque was high on pain medication. It didn't help that they didn't take effect unless he used high doses, and as a result, he acted...

Bizarrely.

They'd also discovered the weapon's ability, it caused the victim to pass out randomly. Macaque wasn't allowed to stand or walk for very long as a result, especially since he nose-dived earlier that day while walking towards the kitchen.

Wukong patted Macaque and nodded, "Sure, Mango. Whatever you say." Macaque gasped loudly, "Peaches, you're PINK and WOBBLY." Wukong just ignored him, "Anyways, how will we identify The Blacksmith, anyway?" Red Son smirked, "I have invented a machine that can track down cursed weapons! All we need to do is point around and see which direction has the most concentration of weapons. Easy enough, hm?"

A black-furred hand waved at Red Son, "YOU ARE SO SQUISHY! Jump from a building, bet you'd bounce like jello! That's a funny word. Jelloooooo. Je-llooooooo-" Red Son forced a smile, "Thanks."

Mei clapped her hands together, "Sounds like a plan!"

Wukong watched Macaque wearingly as he rambled on, "Peaches, did you know the couch tastes like yellow? Yellow sounds like Jello. Red Son is Jello. You look pretty. Super pre-" He slumped and Wukong's breathing hitched.

Macaque snored softly and Wukong sighed, guilt plaguing him.

If he was careful... If he'd listened... If he wasn't so immature... So stupid...

Wukong shakily reached out and stroked his boyfriend's hair, dazed. Stupid Wukong, always hurting others. Hurting him once wasn't enough, now he up and messed up again. Stupid stupid stupid stupid...

Stupid Wukong.

Wukong jolted, shaking his head. He needed to stop, self-loathing wasn't going to stop The Blacksmith. He turned back towards the map and marked out locations. A hand smoothed out his messy hair and he flinched, "Plum?" Bleary eyes matched with a weak smile hummed back.

"What's up? Are you okay?" Wukong immediately turned around to attend to his boyfriend. Macaque chuckled lightly, "Nothing. You work hard, you should rest. Can't have you falling back into old habits, hm?" Wukong sighed, "Your medication stopped taking effect?" Macaque smiled, "Eh, I like it better like this than being all loopy."

Wukong wagged a finger at him and reached for some pills, "Nu-uh, you need these to help out. Pigsy and Sandy's orders." Macaque grumbled, "Doesn't hurt much." Wukong pressed the medicine into the Macaque's hands sternly, "Take them." Macaque swatted him away, "Peaches, no. I don't need them any-" He slumped down, leaning against his boyfriend.

Sigh.

---

Okay, so now they knew where to locate The Blacksmith. Red's machine worked incredibly well and had directed them towards the stand. A tall, hooded figure with four large horns stood back, hammering away.

Mei had slowly held up her phone, snapping a few pictures and marking their location. Problem was that as soon as they neared the exit, MK's hood fell off, revealing that he wasn't a demon.

Ooooh, boy. Maybe they should've worn disguises like Tang had suggested.

"RUN!" Red Son frantically shoved Mei and MK away from the crowd of curious demons. If they got kidnapped-

Red shoved them even harder until they were out on the streets, running as fast as they could. Mei cheered, "We got it! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!" MK laughed, too, but Red Son just hoped nobody recognised MK. That could ruin their progress.

And who knows what harm would come if they were recognised.

Macaque continued to snore softly as the team chattered with each other. Wukong marked down new locations and nodded to himself, "Okay, so these battle locations leads me to believe there's a pattern. Usually, the attacks will occur near Macaque or I." Red Son hummed, "Must be because the weapons were advertized to be powerful enough to take you down in the right hands."

Monkey King nodded, "Exactly." He groaned and stretched, "But that is seriously a big pain in the behind!" Mei shrugged, "At least the effects are reversed after the weapons are destroyed." Pigsy rolled his eyes, "Mei, if you had gotten hit by even a third of these weapons, you wouldn't be so optimistic about it."

"'Was going on..?" Wukong gestured at the map, "We found the jerk, and the attacks are aimed at you and me." Macaque groaned loudly, "Great. Well, at least the attack's aren't aimed at the kids." Mei and MK pouted, "But you guys keep getting hurt, cursed, or both! That sucks!" Macaque shrugged, "Eh." Monkey King smiled, "It's not that bad, don't worry."

He looked back down at the map and narrowed his eyes, "Besides... We know where to find him now."
