Mei dodged the giant hammer, avoiding it as she regained her balance, "MK LOOK OUT, MAN!" MK ducked, avoiding the glowing purple weapon. Wukong kicked down a chunk of debris, sending it hurtling towards the silent demon.

The demon simply brought it down with the giant hammer, and it vaporized. They'd learned very quickly that it vaporized whatever it hit.

The demon bared his teeth and hurled himself towards Mei, who wasn't looking since she was trying to get a civilian to safety, "MEI!" Mei looked up and yelled out in shock before her arm was snatched and she was hurled to the side.

Wukong snarled in pain, watching as his left hand crumbled. MK screamed in shock, "Oh my gosh, Monkey King!" Monkey King wordlessly smacked the demon back while MK smacked him into the ground, knocking him out.

Monkey King stomped on the weapon, cracking it. Mei held up his left arm, inspecting the damage. Monkey King groaned, "Ow. Guys, it'll be fine I'll just grow a new one. Got my head chopped off once and I was peachy." Both MK and Mei screeched, "WHAT?!"

Monkey King walked off, heading back to Pigsy's, "Yup. Then I had to rip open my chest and take my heart out. Took out my guts while I was at it, too. Then I was boiled in oil! Kinda like a living french fry." MK matched his pace, a horrified expression on his face, "I- You are so not okay!"

Mei ran up to them, "Ugh, dude what the heck!" Wukong made an offended noise, "It was to free enslaved Buddhists! Jeez." They reached the noodle shop and walked in, "You sure you're not a masochist?" Wukong groaned, "Mei, no." Pigsy raised a brow, "So what was the weapon now- OH MY WORD-"

Wukong glanced down at his missing hand and smiled sheepishly, "Uh, surprise?" Tang spat out his noodles, "What the- Did the weapon do THAT?" Monkey King plopped down on a stool, spinning a bit, "Uh, yeah. It's whatever, just hurts." MK quickly jumped in, "He says it'll grow back!"

Monkey King nodded, "Yeah, so I'm going to hang out here until it's fully healed so Macaque never has to find out." A phone rang, and MK picked up his phone and grimaced, "Uh, he's trying to facetime me." Wukong choked on air, "Answer it so he doesn't get suspicious!" MK swiped his screen and a voice rang out, "Hello, so how was today's demon?" MK scratched his chin nervously, "Uh, kinda hard. He had a hammer that could destroy stuff it hit. But we defeated him with only a few bumps and bruises!"

"Uh huh. So no other injuries?" MK chuckled lightly, "Yup! Uh-" Wukong cringed slightly, "Distract him from your terrible lying." He whispered. "Oh uh how much stuff can you hold with your tail?" Wukong facepalmed, "Oh, none. Macaque monkeys aren't supposed to have tails, I can't really explain why I have one, could be because I'm Wukong's counterpart. Thing is, it's pretty much useless."

MK and Mei gasped, "Oh, that's my bad, sorry!" While Macaque reassured the kid it was fine, Wukong slipped on some gloves and hoped it didn't look too weird. "Wukong, what are you doing?" Wukong turned around, slightly hunched over with a peach in his right hand, "Uuuuh, not stealing peaches?" He thanked his lucky stars he could just create things, they're good props.

"...What's with the gloves?" Monkey King straightened up and rolled his eyes, "Mei said something about how gloves are fashionable or something." Macaque examined him the best he could, "...Okay then. See you later, Peaches! Take care, everyone."

"Ugh that was so stressful!" MK plopped down his phone and deflated. Pigsy exhaled, too, "I don't think he bought it." Wukong groaned and took of the left glove, "Hey, the bottom part of my palm's already growing back." Tang scribbled down something, "Interesting..."

Wukong wrinkled his nose, "...Uh huh. Anyhow, we've gotta figure out when we attack. So far we know he show up every two days far east of the Demon Market at dusk till midnight. He'll most likely show up tomorrow, thing is we don't know what he has up his sleeves. Any ideas?"

Mei cooed, "Aw, look at you not being impulsive! They grow up so fast..." Wukong glared at her, "Hardy har har." Tang adjusted his glasses, "Hm, then why not observe them tomorrow night? That way we could at least have an idea of what they have." Wukong snapped his fingers and grinned, "Yes! Then when we're wary of what they've got, we can attack."

"But what about all the innocent demons there?" Wukong blinked owlishly at MK, "Uh, Macaque could portal them away from the scene?" MK's face went blank, "Oh, yeah." Wukong looked down at his hand and grinned, "Yay, it's back! I- Oh dang it." MK gave a worried look, "What?" Wukong sucked in air through his teeth, "Uh it's numb. Motor functions haven't returned yet. Whatever, I'm right handed anyway!"

Pigsy facepalmed then gestured wildly at the clueless monkey, "How is that okay?!" Wukong poked at his useless hand, "Cause if I was Macaque I'd be screwed. Besides, it'll wear off." Mei sputtered, "Wait, Macaque's left-handed?" Tang chuckled, "You didn't notice?" Pigsy snuck back into the kitchen before the chaos could get worse.

He could use a nap...
