"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could learn what it had to teach, and not, when I come to die, discover that I had not lived." ~Henry David Thoreau
In nature thing are naturally slower
Very little happens fast in the forest
When you leave behind the noisy, fast pace run of the city and spend time in nature
You are able to slow down and think
All the social expectations and stressful deadlines wash away
When you are able to move past all these things that consume your everyday life
You can really take the time to reflect on what really matters
There's an inner peace I get while in nature
I feel calmer and I can really live in the moment
I feel better
I sleep better
I have more energy
Nature is healing
And the forest feels like home
