I once had a best friend
Who I'd text every day
Early mornings and late nights
Through different time zones
No matter the distance
We were always there for each other
But you don't text anymore
And I'm tired
Tired of trying when you don't
I'm currently half way across the world
In a different country
On a different continent
And you have no clue
I don't text you about my highs and lows anymore
I don't show you the pictures of my great adventures anymore
I'm traveling the world and you don't even know
It's funny in a bitter sort of way
I'm angry at you
But in the end I'm just sad
I wish you were still here with me to share our adventures
