Krypton was being destroyed, Jor-El and his wife, struggled to save their children. They struggled to put them in their ships and send them off.

It had to be done, Jor-El's children needed to survive, Lara looked at Jor-El with tearful eyes, her gaze held pain, and just a twinge of happiness, happiness because her children would survive.

Kal-El, Lara's little boy was in her arms, Lara kissed his forehead and closed her eyes momentarily, savouring the moment.

Lara gently placed Kal-El in the ship, her eyes watery, "What if they don't love him?" Lara asked, Jor-El.

Jor-El's head snapped over to his wife, "Don't worry Lara," he told her.

Then, they were off, the small ships rising into the sky, disappearing from Lara and Jor-El's view. Jor-El, held his wife in his arms, as she cried.

At least their children would be safe. Then it happened, Krypton's last moments. The wonderful planet that it once was, gone.

The small children flying to different parts of America, a country on planet Earth.

Behind them, Krypton exploded, many different colors and stones flying around. It was almost beautiful, but along with Krypton, all it's occupants were gone. Krypton was no more.

Everyone here, knows who Superman is, the great hero he is, but no one really knows how he got there, how he came to be the greatest hero of all time.

How many people looked up to him, how someone that didn't even really know his true identity could trust him.

They don't know why he became the man he is, they don't know what he went through to become who he is today. They don't know who helped him become that person, they just know him as the great hero he is.

Tara and Kara, the two most important people in Superman's life, forgotten, not a thought of them surfing through people's minds.

Everyone just concentrated on Superman, but his relatives, even though they were in the picture, they were all the way at the back, covered by billions of other people.

Superman smack in the middle of that picture.

Kara, she became a great woman, a true Kryptonian, who helped Superman in his hardest of times. But she was lost, gone forever, and soon, she was a distant memory. Only in Superman's mind had she become a sacred memory .

Tara, well nobody knows what happened to her, she, like her cousin became a distant memory, but Tara was important, is important. She played a big part in all of this.
