The early morning rays of light shine into the guest bedroom. They pierce through Anna's eyelids and cause her to groan and roll over. She moved onto Damon, nuzzling him without realization. Anna wakes up in the guest bed, laying on Damon.

"Rise and shine, sleepy head." Damon chuckles, staring down at Anna.

"Aah! What are you doing?! Get out! I thought you left." Anna glared at him, pulling the covers over her as she moved to the edge of the bed.

"You know you were dreaming about me. Explains the drool." Damon smirked, twirling a finger through her hair.

"Ugh. Oh, my God." Anna groaned. "6:00 A.M. seriously? Do you really have nothing better to do at 6:00 A.M.?"

Damon smirked. "Fine. Then don't come with me to go on a live hunt of the mongrels. See ya later." He stood up off the bed, waiting for Anna to respond.

"Wait, what? What are you talking about? Why?" Anna got out of bed, holding a sheet to her, her curiosity rising.

"I was going to look for the bastard that made you die. You don't have to come."

"How? Why? You have no business with him. You don't know who turned me. Maybe I died in my bed. Did you ever think of that? You aren't going after anyone without me." Anna grabbed his wrist, glaring up at him.

"I do know who made you die. I can't believe it took me this long to figure it out. How can you still stand that mutt?" Damon raised an eyebrow.

"Who are you talking about? Mutt? No Lyken killed me." Anna continued to stare at him, her glance changing a few times.

"Yeah. Your brother 'Matt' killed you. Why do you think he ran when he found out you could kill him?" He sat back down.

"Damon he didn't run. He's down stairs. He slept over, same as Cora. He wouldn't hurt me. He's like my brother. Please relax." Anna's hand began to glow, she slowly approached Damon, sitting at the edge of the bed with him. She discreetly reached out behind him to rub his back, to calm him without him knowing.

Damon looked at her, trying to read her eyes. "He ran that night though. He ran from the hospital. He has been hiding something." He relaxed into Anna, his weight on her.

"He was upset. Sometimes when he gets too stressed or upset he will shift unintentionally. He isn't hiding anything Damon." Anna plainly stated. She pushed her hand onto his back and began making circles. She fixed how the sheet sat against her when all of Damon's weight was on her.

Damon blinked a few times. "So him killing you was a dream?" He laid back, bringing Anna with him. "It felt so real though. I really wanted a live hunt." He was calm as can be.

"I know you did. It's okay. But it was all a dream. Maybe after I get back from my thing we can go hunting, only if you like." Anna switched hands and made patterns on his chest with glowing fingers. "He would never kill me Damon. He will protect me." Anna smiled small, but was telling the truth. She pulled her sheet over the both of them. "Relax."

"Can we? I want to hunt with you." Damon nuzzled into Anna, wrapping his arms around her. "He protects you? Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." Anna let the light in her hand die as she laid next to him. "We can. I'll let you know when."

"When do you have to leave?" Damon looked at her, a boyish smile on his lips. "I want to pick your outfit."

"After breakfast. Will you stay for it?" Anna turned onto her side, looking at him. "I know Sam would love it if you stayed for breakfast. Please stay? For once?"
