'Yoohyeon? Yoohyeon, wake up.'

She woke up with a start to Minji shaking her shoulder gently. 'Hm?' She mumbled sleepily.

'Someone's calling you on the phone. They already called you twice and now they're calling you again.' Minji said, handing her her phone.

Confused, Yoohyeon answered the call. Who was calling her at this time of day?

'Kim Yoohyeon!' As soon as she picked up, she was met with a shriek let out by the person on the other side of the line. 'Yes, that's me-'

'Yah~ Did you hear me? I said~ I need my package before 5 pm~'  The person, Yoohyeon noted, was obviously drunk, and she didn't want to deal with them any further. 'Yes, and I will bring it to you before-'

'NO!' The person cut her off once again. They were so loud that Yoohyeon had to pull the phone away from her ear. 'I NEED IT NOW~ I ALREADY SENT YOU THE ADDRESS. BRING IT TO ME RIGHT NOW BEFORE I RUIN THAT PRETTY LITTLE FACE OF YOURS... HAHA.'  The person hung up after producing a hideous noise that somewhat resembled a laugh.

There was no doubt that Minji had heard the last part of their conversation. She sat there in shock as she tried to process what she had just heard. Then she looked at Yoohyeon in concern, who had her eyebrows furrowed in deep thought. Yet she didn't look one bit fazed by the threat directed towards her. 'Yoohyeon... who was that?' She asked the younger girl worriedly.

'Just a friend. Nothing to worry about.' Yoohyeon's voice was cheerful, but the way she was nervously picking at a lose thread in her hoodie sleeve gave her away. Then she turned to Minji, looking frightened. 'I'm so sorry, but can we go now? I know you prepared a lot for today, you really didn't have to go for all that trouble. And all this food, they'll go to waste... I don't know how to make it up to you, but I promise I will.' She ranted, looking ready to cry. Minji, on the other hand, simply stared at her with her mouth agape. At a time like this, Yoohyeon was still worried about upsetting her?

'Wait, you're not actually going, are you?' She asked, shaking her head in disbelief when the girl nodded. 'Yoohyeon, you heard them. It's dangerous!'

Yoohyeon shook her head. 'I don't know anything about them. And neither do you.'

'Exactly why I'm stopping you!' Minji argued. 'They could be anyone!'

'No, they're not.' Yoohyeon said, her voice certain.

'And how do you know that?' Minji raised her voice, causing Yoohyeon to jump. 'I'm sorry, I'm just worried.'

'Please don't stop me, Minji. I have to do this.' Yoohyeon's face was unreadable. 'Can we please go now?'

Minji let out a sigh before nodding ever so slightly. 'Well, I can't stop you.'

The duo stayed silent for the entire car ride back, except for the occasional directions Yoohyeon gave to the older girl who was driving. None knew what to say to the other.

As Yoohyeon was getting off the car, Minji pulled on her arm to stop her. The younger girl turned around to look at her, her face expressionless. Minji's heart sank. She wasn't going to change her mind.

Minji let go of her arm. 'Take care, Yooh.' She smiled sadly before driving away.
