Minji was having a mini concert in her room dancing to Twice's 'Cheer Up' when the door was suddenly flung open by Minsoo, who sauntered in as if it was her own house. 'Hey, Minji,' she began, not even bothering to explain her sudden appearance. 'You know-'

'What are you doing here?' Minji asked as she turned off the music, slightly embarrassed that Minsoo had seen her prance around like a duck. The question came out harsher than she had expected it to, but Minsoo didn't seem to notice.

'To talk to you, of course.' Minsoo shrugged as if it was obvious. 'You seem much happier these days. Are you seeing someone?'

'Hmm?' Minji responded absentmindedly. Yoohyeon could arrive at any moment, and she was nowhere close to being ready. 'No, no one.'

'If you say so,' Minsoo replied, changing the topic almost immediately. 'Anyways, did you know this morning she literally left me on read? Can you believe it-'

'No, I actually can't believe it,' Minji cut in. 'I can't believe you're still taking advantage of her when she obviously doesn't want anything to do with you, not to mention the constant shit talk about her as if she doesn't have feelings.'

'What's wrong with you?' Minsoo stared at her weirdly. 'Since when do you care?'

'You know, you really should stop,' Minji snapped. 'Try considering her feelings first, if you have a heart. Oh wait, you probably don't have one.'

'You know, that's enough. I don't know what's gotten into you, Minji, but how I treat her is none of your business,' Minsoo retorted, inspecting her makeup with a pocket mirror. She snapped the mirror shut and turned to look at Minji. 'So you should stop acting like it is.'

'You're right, it's none of my business,' Minji sighed. 'We used to be best friends, Minsoo. Now I feel like I don't even know you anymore.'

No response came from the other girl, who was busy fixing her eyeliner. And that was enough of a response for Minji. Leaving Minsoo in her room, she grabbed 2 aprons and ran downstairs.

Minji loved chocolate chip cookies. And she's about to love them even more.
