i'm so sorry if this is bad
i just returned from a summer camp and i wrote this when i was half asleep, didn't spellcheck didn't proofread and just published it right away 💀
i have a few chapters prewritten tho so i'll try to update for the next few days as well :)

Yoohyeon was lying in bed, mindlessly scrolling through her phone when Bora burst into her room without knocking. 'Wow, good morning to you too,' she said sarcastically, expecting her sister to reply with something equally snarky.

But to her surprise, she simply sat down on her bed and asked, 'What's going on with you two?'

'Who?'

Bora rolled her eyes. 'Come on, you know who I'm talking about. Minji.' She snatched the phone out of Yoohyeon's hands and pressed further. 'Now spill. Are you two fighting?'

'Give my phone back!' When she realised her sister clearly wasn't going to give it back until she got what she wanted, she huffed and crossed her arms in defeat. 'Fine. We're not fighting. At least I don't think we are. I don't know,' she admitted.

Bora raised an eyebrow. 'What do you mean, you don't know?'

Yoohyeon shrugged. 'We stopped talking.'

'Why? Did something happen between you two?'

'Well... uh...' She paused, not sure of what to say. To be honest, she was pretty sure the reason why Minji had stopped texting her was because she had made her mad. But she never told anyone about her messed up life, not even her sister. If Bora knew, she would probably march over to Minsoo's house and beat the shit out of her right away, and that wouldn't solve the problem.

So the best option was to play innocent. 'I don't know.'

Bora sighed. 'Listen, most of the time when people stop talking, it's because neither one was willing to reach out first. And then what happens? They lose contact. So if you really value Minji as your girlfr- I mean, as a friend, then be the one to reach out first. Don't sit around waiting for her to send you a message, because that's not how life works.'

'Yeah, okay.'

'No, I'm serious, Yooh. You don't have to believe anything else I say, but trust me on this one. You know I'm an expert when it comes to relationship advice.'

'I wouldn't be surprised,' Yoohyeon rolled her eyes, raising her arms in surrender when her sister shook a threatening fist in her face. 'Fine! I'll talk to her.'

'Good. I'll leave you to it, then,' Bora gave her a slight pat on the shoulder, then stood up and left.

Once Yoohyeon heard the door to her sister's room close, she picked up her phone and started typing.

Yoohyeon
Hey Minji
