Peter's footsteps thumped against the floor loudly as he ran down the crowded hallway. Multiple people shouted at him to slow down others moved out of the way not wanting to be trampled by the young adult. He was running fast. Faster than any normal man could run.

Normally, he had a handle on his super human abilities. He didn't tend to use them in his everyday life since it could make people around him suspicious of his amazing speed and strength. Today however was a exception he was late for class. Late by almost thirty minutes.

"Sorry excuse me!" Peter said as he almost barreled into a unsuspecting girl. She cussed him out he promptly ignored it to focused on trying to make it to room 616. The class was taught by the famous scientist Dr.Curt Connors. Peter looked up to him he was sorta like his mentor. Sorta being that the man didn't like him much when he didn't turn in his assignments and was late to class.

Peter slowed down once he reached the door to the classroom. Luckily, for the rest of the university students he was done with his running rampage down the hallways. Peter held his breath as he opened the door as quickly as he could hoping to make it before the class really ended.

Peter had intended to be quiet to attract as little attention to himself as possible. He misjudged the amount of strength he had used. The door slammed against the wall with a loud thud everyone in the room had clearly heard as their curious gazes we're on him.

Peter gulped he wanted to disappear now. He had been in such a rush that he had failed to make sure he opened the door gently. Now he had made himself look like a fool in front of the entire classroom. Plus in front of Connors. Peter stepped in one tense step at a time. He felt like he was running on auto pilot as he walked silently over to his seat.

The man ignored the gazes on him as he sat in the middle of the classroom. He hadn't wanted to be to far away that he couldn't see the board. He also didn't want to be in the front either he hated being able for everyone to see him.

"I see you're late again Mr.Parker. You can help me clean the whiteboards after class for you're interruption." Connors said he didn't even bother looking at Peter. If anything that made it worse since he automatically knew which student had caused the raucous.

Peter was late often he always forgot to set a alarm. Sometimes he just smashed it hoping to get five more minutes before he had to trudge over to his cheap coffee maker so he could actually wake up and be a functional human. Peter had trouble staying awake after his nightly ventures as Spider-Man. Sometimes a villain made him miss class due to having to save someone.

Being a hero was fun and rewarding but it drained a lot out of him. Peter didn't even feel tired a little bit during that class unlike usual. He was wide awake after his adrenaline fuelled run and his embarrassment from his impromptu entrance into class he was wide awake his brain was going a million miles a hour with many different thoughts.

Peter took as many notes as he could finals were coming up and he needed as much information that he could learn. Peter's hand was tired and hurt slightly at the end of class he put the thirty or so note cards he'd written on in his bag. When he showed up to class he was a proficient worker.

Peter had to help his professor clean off all the writing on the whiteboards in the classroom. Their was at least three all decently sized that Connors wrote on for all his classes. Peter inwardly complained but didn't out loud knowing the man would make him do more work if he did.

Peter made his way to his next class he had a few minutes to spare before he sat down not in a hurry this time. He attentively wrote down notes making sure his mind was in the right place instead of going on any other topic like it sometimes did.

Peter slumped down on his bed he had a full day of intense note taking. His only reprieve from his sore hand being overworked was when he hanged out at lunch with his friends. Peter had sat by Miles and Gwen who eagerly talked his ear off about some assignment she was doing for a final project.

Peter had nodded along and smiled he liked it whenever Gwen talked to him. He had once had feelings for the girl in high school. They had ended though after he got distracted by more important things than a highschool crush. His job as Spider-Man demanded his full attention.

Peter still liked the women as a friend she understand him better than almost anyone. She knew his secret that he was Spider-Man and so did Miles. Miles was also one of his friends from highschool. The man obviously liked Gwen. Peter would be happy if the two of them got together. They both deserved it.

MJ was also Peter's friend but she didn't go to the college he went to. They talked over text and would occasionally call one another up to hangout at a coffee shop they both liked. MJ always cheered him on unless she thought something he did was stupid. She'd promptly tell him what she thought. She was blunt and straight to the point.

Peter heard voices coming from the police radio he had "borrowed." He sat up immediately listening to what they were saying. A villain was attacking people in the streets with some sort of ice powers. "It's time to suit up." Peter said to himself he pulled the red mask over his head before he jumped out his window.

Peter swung around New York City looking for the criminal. He saw a bright blue light coming from behind a building. He made his way over there knowing it was the villain he had been looking for. "It's so ice to meet you! How about we get you in jail? Okay frosty?" Peter joked as he landed in front of the villain.
