Peter let out a breath of relief his head slumped against his desk. The man was so tired he felt his eyes dropping he could have fell asleep right there. Peter sat bolt upright when his alarm he'd set on his phone to repeat everyday at the same time went off blaring in his ear scaring him.
Peter grumbled he swiped right to turn it off a little to aggressive probably leaving a crack in his phone. Peter was just glad he had gotten his paper done even if now it was 6:30 in the morning thirty minutes before the deadline and he hadn't gotten any sleep.
Now that he had a moment to relax Peter thought over last night. By now his healing had kicked in healing all the damage that he'd gotten from the explosion. Peter pulled off his shirt or well not his since it was to big for him. Peter stared at it for a few seconds as his mind put together why he had Wade's shirt. It was slower due to him not being able to think nearly as good as usual due to sleep deprivation.
"He said he didn't see anything. But how can I believe someone like Wade?" Peter asked himself he chucked it across the room not wanting to think about it anymore. "Then again he did save me." Peter said to himself he had reason to both trust and distrust Wade. Peter decided to forget about it.
His binder was still on it smelt like smoke and ashes still confirming Wade had at least left it alone. Peter was glad for that small act of respect even if he still didn't like the fact that the mercenary knew he was trans. Peter wasn't ashamed of being trans but he didn't need all of New York knowing Spiderman was trans. Wade wasn't exactly known for being quiet.
Peter sat his binder on his bed he made a mental note to wash it later when he had the time. Peter took a quick shower hurriedly getting dressed. Peter had considered grabbing one of his oversized hoodies since he couldn't wear this binder since he'd overworn it since he needed to get his homework done and it smelt like smoke.
Sadly, all of them were dirty in a pile in the corner. Peter had meant to take them to the laundry mat down the street but he was always busy with school or being a crime fighting vigilante. Peter was annoyed but none the less he found Wade's shirt and pulled it on. At least it hid everything.
"Ah, Mister Parker nice of you to turn in your paper one minute before the deadline." Connors said giving the man a fake smile. Peter hung his head in embarrassment as everyone in the class stared at him as he entered class seconds before the bell ring as usual. Connors took the paper from him shooiing him off with his hand.
Peter slunk to the back the embarrassment he always felt while being announced late or having overdue assignments by Connors was present. Peter sat down in his seat inbetween Miles and Gwen. Gwen smiled at him causing a real smile to appear on Peter's face as he smiled back.
Miles waved Peter waved back as well. "Man you really need to get here before the bell is about to ring." Miles said amused he chuckled at Peter's glare.
"I try Miles I try. But it's hard. I have this job..." Peter said he stopped himself as he felt Connors gaze bore into him. Peter felt like a kid in elementary school again being called out for not paying attention. Peter took out his note cards getting ready to take notes for the lesson he wouldn't remember later.
Peter managed to stay awake luckily it helped Miles would crack a joke or two making him laugh. Connors disapproved obviously but he didn't say anything probably glad Peter was awake and paying attention for once.
"Hey, Spidey great to see you again! Then again I see you in my dreams so much sooner than we actually met!" Wade said he jumped down onto the roof Peter was sitting on. Peter's spider sense didn't alert him to Wade's presence so he jumped. Even if he was loud and obnoxious Wade was always quiet walking.
"Hey, Wade you know my secret don't you?" Peter asked as half a question half a statement. He didn't know for sure but he had a feeling he did. Their was no way that Wade had managed to take off his Spiderman suit without seeing the binder. Unless he was oblivious he would know what it was. Peter also knew Wade was pansexual so he probably wasn't.
"That you have a great ass and you're adorable?" Wade asked he said it innocently cocking his head to the side like a dog. Peter rolled his eyes he couldn't help the smile and blush that rose to his face. It was weird to think about how much that explosion made him think better of Wade. He still was embarrassed by the merc comments but he was getting used to them.
"No, you big idiot I'm trans." Peter said he pulled his mask off he wanted Wade to see how serious this was for him. Peter felt a prick of anxiety buzzing in the back of his skull his spider sense was on high alert. Peter wasn't scared he tried to convince himself. He didn't care about Wade's reaction or what he thought even if he might even consider them friends now.
"Hah, oh that. No big dealies I don't care. I mean if the author wants to deliberately make you trans to help with his own gender queer feelings who cares?" Wade said he leaned against Peter kicking his feet back and forth looking down at the city below them like he didn't have a care in the world.
Peter blinked he stared at Wade like he had suddenly grown two heads. With the things Wade did and said it wouldn't surprise Peter if one day he suddenly did. It would fit Wade's crazy personality and life. "You don't care at all?" Peter said ignoring all the random stuff the merc had just said for his own sanity.
"Yeah I'm pan remember? Their is nothing you can do to keep me from liking your ass baby boy. Like seriously you being trans ain't affecting nothing." Wade said he was now looking at Peter the oddly expressive mask of his the eyes were turned upwards signaling he was smiling at Peter.
"You know your not so bad Wade." Peter said he leaned against Wade a smile on his face.
