Chapter 14 The Choice Is Yours

"My name is the Green Goblin not to be confused with the great amazing one before me. I want Spiderman to show up at Oscorp tower in a hour or these helpless poor civilians will pay for his actions against me and my father. Then he'll reveal his identity to the whole world on camera or they get it. The choice is yours Spiderman. You better come alone." Harry laughed he motioned with his finger across his neck making Peter's blood turn cold.

They were still parked along side the road since Peter had been crying just seconds ago. Peter stopped crying he wiped the tears away aggressively. The sadness was replaced by dread he was frozen like a statue when Harry disappeared off the screen.

"This is why Spiderman is a menace. His enemies become the upstanding citizens of New Yorks problems. That masked criminal is a danger to us all. "I have to go. I have to stop him once and for all." Peter said he got out of Wade's lap he grabbed the handle to the car door. Wade stopped him his big hand enclosing over Peter's wrist. Peter turned around to look at Wade, "Wade I have to go I can't let him hurt those helpless people because of my actions." Peter pleaded.

"I'm not letting you go into a battle without a plan. Especially without your suit." Wade said he pulled Peter back into his seat. Peter knew if he wanted to badly he could rip his hand out of Wade's hand and run away. He decided to stay he knew Wade was right now matter how much his mind told him to go after Harry right at this moment.

"We have a hour don't we? Let's prepare properly." Wade said Peter nodded he than started driving to Peter's apartment so he could get one of his suits. Once they got there Peter rushed inside he threw open his closet looking for his backup costume.

"Where is it?" Peter asked frustrated as he threw stuff out of his closet hurriedly. He sighed he couldn't find it anywhere. He started searching under his bed he didn't have much time. Wade called Peter's name he ignored it to focused on trying to find one of his Spiderman costumes.

"Peter!" Wade shouted for the second or maybe third time Peter didn't know.

"What Wade? I don't have much time. What if I don't arrive in time or he hurts them anyways-" Peter started rambling he was stopped by Wade putting his hand over this mouth. Peter glared at Wade his eyes widened instead when his boyfriend held up one of his costumes.

"How long have you had that?" Peter asked embarrassed.

"For the last five minutes." Wade said grinning.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Peter whined he snatched the costume from Wade and started putting it on hurriedly.

"I tried but you wouldn't let me get a word in. Everytime I'd speak you'd say Wade don't talk to me I'm busy can't you help look?" Peter said he mocked Peter talking in a high pitched voice.

"I don't sound like that." Peter grumbled he had finished on getting all the costume on but the mask.

"Yes, you totally do it's a pretty accurate impression." Wade said teasingly he ruffled Peter's hair making the man whine. Wade grinned his eyes softened as he grabbed Peter's head with his hands. Peter looked at him confused. "I love you Peter Parker. If we don't come back I just want you to know that." Wade said he wanted to make sure his boyfriend knew it since it was true. Wade didn't think he had ever loved anyone this much.

"I love you to." Peter said he leaned into Wade's touch. Wade leaned forward and pressed his lips on Peter's. Peter kissed back they separated after a few seconds. "And what do you mean we? Gobie said for me to come alone." Peter said raising a eyebrow at the merc.

"I'm coming with you if you like it or not. I'm not letting my beautiful boyfriend get hurt while I helplessly watch." Wade said he stared Peter down daring him to protest. Peter had never seen Wade so determined before.

"Okay fine but you can only help if it gets really bad. You also have to make sure Gobie can't hurt anyone." Peter said he pulled his mask over this face covering it. Wade nodded he didn't like not being able to get on the action unless necessary but it wasn't like he had a choice.

"Good now let's go Red." Peter said he ran out the door. Wade ran after him he got into his car grabbing his costume he'd stashed in it hidden beneath the driver's seat. Wade hurriedly pulled it on he had to take it off before he'd taken Peter to the hospital he didn't understand why he could have a least one gun or katana with him.

Peter waited for Wade the man wrapped his legs around Peter's waist and put his arms around his neck in order to hold on like what they usually did. Peter swung off with web making his way towards Oscorp tower.

Peter made his there quickly not wanting to know what would happen if he didn't. He landed on one the Oscorp buildings windows Wade clung tightly to him. "I'm going to break this window to get in." Peter said to Wade as a warning before he punched the window sending glass flying everywhere.

Peter ignored the throbbing and blood pouring down his hand as he jumped threw the window. Wade let out a scream as Peter suddenly launched himself threw the window. Peter landed on the floor in a tumble sending Wade to the floor as well. "Good choice. Now let the games begin." Harry said he turned his chair around to look at Peter and Wade.
