Peter knocked on the door lightly he made sure that the flowers he was holding still looked alive. Peter had on several occasions ruined flowers by having to go stop a crime and shoving them in his backpack so they didn't get in the way. Peter smiled whenever the door opened and his aunt May was standing there.
"Oh, Peter I am so glad you're here. Nice to see you!" May said happily she gave him a nervous smile. Peter wondered why she looked nervous. His aunt always greeted him with a smile and hug which she did. The woman didn't invite him in though.
"May what is going on?" A familiar voice asked making Peter's eyes widen.
"Happy?" Peter asked confused as he saw the man come to the door he stood behind May. Happy's eyes widened as he saw Peter. He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly avoiding Peter's gaze. "Explain." Peter said he wanted to know what Happy was doing at his aunt house.
"Yeah, I'd thought you'd say that." Happy said he opened the door fully allowing Peter to finally get inside the house. They all sat down in the living room while Happy explained he was just visiting Aunt May to see if she was safe. Peter highly doubted that Happy kept looking at his Aunt like she was the most amazing thing in the world.
Peter found it a little uncomfortable thinking of Happy with his Aunt. He didn't care that much as long as it made them both happy. "I'm fine with honestly." Peter said holding up his hands to show he meant what he said.
"Good because she's moving in with me." Happy said grinning at May lovingly.
"What?"
Peter landed on the rooftop silently he sat down he watched cars and people pass down below him. He loved sitting on high skyscrapers or building and just watch the world move on around him. It made it seem like what was happening in his life at the moment didn't matter at the moment. The world was huge and this reminded him of that.
Peter sighed he laid down on the rooftop staring at the blue sky. He closed his eyes he was still tired even after he had taken a nap accidently in his math class. Peter felt his eyelids drooping the longer he laid there. He was about to doze off to sleep whenever some landing on the roof next to him with a loud thud arose him from his almost nap.
Peter groaned he looked around he couldn't see who was on the rooftop with him. He hoped it wasn't a bad guy he wasn't in the mood to fight. Peter got to his feet he turned around there was the red and black black clad mercenary himself. "What?" Peter snapped annoyed that his nap was interrupted.
"Jeez, Webs didn't expect this harsh of a greeting." Deadpool said he sat down at the edge of the roof his feet swinging back and forth as he watched rush hour New York traffic move slowly below them. "It's great isn't it." Wade said his gaze was still down below them.
"What's great?" Peter asked he sat hesitantly down beside the mercenary careful to keep his distance. He didn't seem like he wanted to hurt Peter but the man still didn't trust him at all. Peter looked at Wade expectancy wondering what he was talking about.
"How the world can look so small up here." Wade said he finally looked at Peter. The eyes of his mask was narrowed as he looked Peter up and down. Peter felt uncomfortable at Deadpool's glanced he shifted uncomfortably back and forth. Deadpool watched his every moment as if he was trying to memorize them.
"Yeah, I guess so." Peter said he refused to acknowledge Deadpool's staring feeling like if he did it'd make it worse. Peter did not want to know what the other man was thinking. He had made weird comments last time the had seen each other. Deadpool somehow always found him when he was patrolling. Then he'd follow him around like a lost puppy.
"Man you're real attractive you know that?" Deadpool said finally quitting his staring. Peter felt anger rise within him how many times did he have to tell the mercenary he wasn't into guys? Well he thought he wasn't at least. He had only dated one girl before. MJ.
"What the hell Deadpool!" Peter said frustrated he tried to punch the man in the shoulder. Deadpool had fast reflexes he grabbed Peter's hand in both of his. Peter felt a blush rise to his cheeks at the contact he hadn't expected it. That's what he told himself at least. He didn't care that Deadpool was touching him he was just embarrassed that his punch was caught is all.
Deadpool winked at Peter causing his blush to deepen. He cleared his throat he pulled his hand back. Peter stared at his hand distracted his thoughts becoming preoccupied by the man beside him. Deadpool's mask had no right to be that expressive to show him how the other man was feeling.
"Hmm, I wonder what's on fire. Other than you Webs." Deadpool said he was staring out at the horizon to building that had smoke rising up from the. The smoke rose into the sky obviously coming from those building Peter's spider sense was going haywire he held his head trying to get it to get under control.
"Something wrong?" Deadpool asked as he looked at Peter in concern.
"We need to go see what is happening." Peter said straightening himself up he stood. "Get on." Peter said he knew Deadpool wouldn't be able to follow him if didn't carry him there himself. Deadpool grinned as he climbed onto Peter's back wrapping his legs around his waist and arms around his neck so he didn't fall off. Peter jumped off the rooftop swinging away with one of his webs.
A loud explosion shook the air as it exploded. The blinding color blinded Peter and the loud nosie hurt his ears. Not being able to see he couldn't sling his next web. Peter felt himself falling he also noticed Deadpool wasn't near him anymore. He panicked as he felt himself dropping down fast towards the ground.
