Chapter 15 Fight

"You don't have to do this Harry!" Peter pleaded he dodged out of the way of a pumpkin bomb Harry threw. It narrowly missed him sending glass shards flying in every direction. Wade let out an annoyed sigh he probably got hit with a few of them. Peter couldn't worry about Wade right now he had to stop Harry before things got really out of hand.

"Yes I do Pete! You killed my father I'll never forgive you for that." Harry said he threw more pumpkin bombs Peter dodged all of them he winced when he felt glass embed itself in his left leg it slowed him down the next time he tried to dodge narrowly missing slamming into his face.

Wade getting tired of seeing his boyfriend have to barely dodge the attacks pulled out his katana. Their wasn't much he could do but he had to try. Wade waited until Harry threw the next round of bombs before he dashed behind him into the other room.

Wade couldn't help Peter but he could help the hostages that Harry was holding. "Get back here!" Harry shouted when he finally noticed that Wade was missing. Harry tried to go after Wade he left himself open so Peter webbed his hand to the door.

"This is between me and you Harry!" Peter shouted he walked over to him. Harry yanked on the webbing with his free hand trying to free himself. He managed to rip it off due to the strength enhancing effects of the Goblin serum. Peter was trying to keep him distracted long enough to let Wade help all the hostages.

Harry wasn't wearing his mask anymore since Peter knew who he was. He grinned he waited until Peter shot another web. Harry yanked forward on the web Peter didn't have enough time to react as he was pulled forward fast. "Now I've got you." Harry said his grin was maniacal Peter felt sick.

Harry while he hadn't been the nicest person was never supposed to be the Green Goblin. Peter knew it was his fault he had been the one to fight Norman. He had been the one to jump out of the way of the glider. "It's your fault he's dead." Harry hissed he grabbed Peter by the throat using his superhuman strength to lift him up in the air.

Peter felt panic threw his entire body his breathing was cut off. Peter reached a hand up to the one that Harry had a iron grip over his throat with. If I would have not jumped the glider would have hit me and then Harry wouldn't be like this Peter thought to himself.

  He scolded himself instantly it wasn't about what could have happened it was about what was happening Harry was trying to expose his identity and other people got wrapped up in their issues. Besides, if he wouldn't have jumped Norman would still be around to terrorize the city. Better one man dead than a whole bunch of people.

Peter kicked Harry in the chest it was strong enough to make Harry let go of him. Peter jumped back he got in a fighting stance ready for anything Harry was going to throw at him. Harry got up he had been slammed into the wall he now had a slight limp as he walked towards Peter. "I'm going to hurt you Pete. I'm going to hurt you like how you hurt me. By taking who you love." Harry said he kept walking towards Peter.

"Harry you don't have to do this! We both know Norman was a criminal!" Peter said he didn't want to hurt Harry but he was almost left with no choice as Harry pulled out another pumpkin bomb. Harry activated it he threw it in the other room where Wade was still helping the hostages out.

"No!" Peter said he dove into the room.

Harry laughed it made Peter want to curl up in a ball and never come back into reality. It sounded to much like Norman's. Peter didn't think he'd ever be able to accept Harry was the new Green Goblin. The fact he took up his dad's mantle made him want to deny it forever. Yet Harry was behind him in the other room trying to kill innocent civilians and his boyfriend.

Peter grabbed the bomb before it hit the floor he didn't know what he was doing he just knew he needed to get it away before anyone else got hurt. Peter jumped threw the window sending a shower of glass everywhere civilians screamed putting hands over their heads.

Peter shot a web out to the nearest highest building he threw the bomb as far as he could. The bomb exploded in the air it shaked the surrounding buildings but it didn't hurt anyone. Peter let out a relieved sigh he landed on the roof of Oscorp. Harry's plan had been stopped everyone was safe or so he thought.

Harry flew onto the roof with his glider. He was clapping he looked slightly impressed. "I give you my applause Spiderman or should I say Peter? Well you may have stopped a little pumpkin bomb that doesn't account for the nuclear one I have down somewhere in New York's subway system." Harry said he was grinning and Peter felt like he wanted to throw up right there.

Peter held himself together he had to if he was going to save anyone. Peter decided he couldn't do this as Peter Parker. He was going to have to be Spiderman. This conflict has started with the Green Goblin and Spiderman. Then it had turned into Harry and Peter.

"You have a hour Spiderman until it goes off. If you don't stop this whole side of the city will be razed. Good luck." The Goblin said as he pulled his mask over his face concealing his face. He sounded joyful that the stakes of their fight was being raised. Peter wanted to stop the Goblin but he needed to find that bomb. The Goblin flew off on his glider laughing manically as he left.
